Green Life Cottage, Siem Reap — Hotel in Siem Reap

Had a really nice stay here. If you want something a little quiet away from the main tourist area but close enough so its not too far to get to then this is the place for you. There is nothing but farms around with very nice local people coming past and kids on bicycles smiling and saying "hello". There isn't much options with food at the property and the closest 'restaurants' are a 10 min walk away but also only serve local food with very few options HOWEVER you can get a Grab into the city for only $2.75. We found booking it no problem at all and the drivers found the cottage. Its 10-15 by tuktuk into the main city where there are all the comforts of a major city. The room is modern with all of the comforts you need and wouldn't be out of place in any major city in the world but you step out of your door into village farm life... its nice. We had a wonderful time at Green Life Cottage which is in a rural setting on the outskirts of Siem Reap, a taste of village life. Mr Ve and his wife were very helpful and we enjoyed sharing their home. The room was fine, complete with bath! Breakfast was included, eggs and toast with tea or coffee and fruit. We are vegetarians and enjoyed a light evening meal of spring rolls and mango salad. Mr Borei was our tuk tuk driver for three days, visiting the sights of Angkor Wat and other temples. We decided to stay at Green Life Cottage so we could experience the true authentic life at Siem Reap and we couldn't have a better choice. The room is very comfortable and even had a bath and huge balcony. Breakfast is very tasty and you can also have dinner/lunch at their site. They also can book tuk tuk rides for you to visit places and go to pub street - all affordable and with great service.
