HAGIOS GLOBAL Guesthouse — Hotel in Siem Reap

I spent 2 nights here during my visit to Akron Wat & the city and had a wonderful time, the owner is from Korea and when I first get here, had a wonderful greeting and realized the were hosting a party for a large Korean group, they get me in and invited and be part of the party. I meet people that gave me great tips for what to during my visit and introduced me with the right people to make the activities. The place is recently open about 3 months is really clean, my room was basic but certainly things that I need, table desk, rack hanging closet, private bathroom, hot water, bidet, aircon and a double bed & has breakfast included. |Thank you for your hospitality and all the best you are doing...

First of all it is almost nowhere. 25min by tuk-tuk from the city center. It is already khmer and not touristic zone. There are no restaurants, shops and any infrastructure around, only native village. Staff was a little bit lost, like they were expecting us to escape what we did after one night. One nice things is that the host haven't charged us extra. Hotel by itself is... so so. Guesthouse. Clean more or less. No bar and kitchen. We arrived at 20.00 and couldn't eat anything at that time.
