Let's start by saying I’ve booked the "official hotel taxi" from the airport of Douala but the Taxi was not there, no taxi driver with the hotel cart at the exit and no "Hotel Mimado" cars out on the street, so after one hour waiting for the cab I decided to take a common taxi to reach the structure, but I also paid under request the taxi I’ve never seen at the airport. Once in the hotel, the water coming out of taps is brown like coffee and horribly smelly. You enter the shower sweaty and get out that smelly worse than before. This is probably the reason why all the guests I saw came to this structure remain only for one night and many of them have not even slept there. In my case I paid the entire hotel stay in advance so I had no choice and I had to keep the place for 11 days. The first room I was assigned smelt of sewer so after a couple of nights and seeing that the situation did not improve I asked the room change. In the second room the smell was less strong, but still present. The structure is just at the side of the beach but in a green area, there are many insects and mosquitoes and to get to the beach you have to cross a very dangerous main road. In the evening at 18:00 the bar closes, and to reach a restaurant you must call a taxi or take a moto taxi to Kribi City to eat (about 7 to 8 Km). The food is good but quite expensive compared to the others in the area, but the bar workers are very kind. Internet doesn’t works most of the time and when it works its only in front of the beach and with a very slow connection.|For the paid amount (about 35 euros per night) you can easily find something much better and in more convenient locations...

It is quiet confortable and has very affordable prices and great confort. It is run by a charming french cameroonian couple. Michelle, the owner is lovely and a wonderful cook. If you are planning to go to Kribi, it is definitely the best place to stay. Quiet, clean, away from the noise of town but close to the nice spots such as the Lobe Falls, the Grand Batanga and the Ebodje...
