Mbouoh Star Palace — Hotel in Dschang

I stayed at this hotel for a week while working in Dschang. It is centrally located, very clean, and the service was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. This hotel has its own generator so there's always power. There's an elevator for the upper floors. Unfortunately wifi only worked in the lobby, but it was consistent. The drainage in the bathroom left a lot to be desired- even though this is a reasonably new hotel, the bathroom design was very poor with no proper shower, just a showerhead in the wall & a drain across the bathroom on the floor that didn't work well. However, I've stayed in other hotels in Dschang & this one is by far the best.|| There is a lovely restaurant on the second floor overlooking the street and the food is good and reasonably priced. They have a buffet lunch. There's also a grill in the back where you can choose a fish (they have other options but the fresh fish was best) to be grilled for dinner, & live music. Just off the lobby there's also a bakery, so this hotel is very convenient for dining options! || We also used the conference room which was ok but rather dreary with dirty walls and chipping paint. I stayed 6 nights in this spotlessly clean hotel with nice an friendly staff. No power cuts or water problems. Slight issue with wifi last day.
