Overall, this 9 hole course has a nice layout and is conveniently close to town. Some staff members are friendly, which prevents me from giving it just one star. However, the new owners seem out of touch with the game of golf, evident in the course's less than optimal condition. Tee boxes and greens are rough and lumpy, and weeds are abundant. The focus seems to have shifted to catering to campers and renting out a "party" room, neglecting the needs of golfers. The clubhouse lacks food service and used to lack a liquor license, though now liquor is available at high prices. Additionally, there's no beer cart on the course. The fees are steep for what's offered, especially considering nearby alternatives like Pine Hills, which offer a full 18 holes, dining options, and a well-maintained course for the added price equivalent to a drink. Booking requires credit card payment over the phone, and taking a cart out involves filling out a waiver with credit card numbers. One staff member was rather condescending, but in general most have all been friendly. Membership inquiries revealed restrictive terms and treatment of members as secondary, leading to a decision not to join. They would not negotiate membership terms (such as being able to play weekends) even when I offered to pay more. Despite being a frequent player in previous years, I am unlikely to return. It is unfortunate as the course has potential, but is not worth the premium price they charge.

There was absolutely zero internet, the laundry facilities cost a fortune to dry clothes @$4 a load and takes at least 3 times to dry. When we spoke to the lady at the desk she said “ I don’t make the prices.” But when you have babies and small children who can spend that much on just drying clothes. And as the picture shows there wasn’t even an option to join their wifi. All I can say is if you don’t have it, don’t advertise that you do! Get new dryers, take down that you have internet and update your showers.

Excellent combination of campground and golf course. Some of the sites have just water and 30 amp electricity, and some have water, electricity and sewer. Central shower house is also available to campers. Only a short walk from your site to the first tee. For a nine hole course in the country, it offers some challenging holes. To go along with some nice views.

Can’t really bring myself to say anything good about this place other than full hookups. You cannot pick your site, it is picked for you upon arrival, so we were stuck in a field with zero privacy and one small tree. It is advertised that there is wifi for the WHOLE campground, we couldn’t even get enough bars to get it connected. (We were probably one of the closer campgrounds to the office) so that doesn’t work. They do have a decent little outside park. But don’t let the advertisement fool you, the “indoor park” is a banquet room inside of the office with a few toys inside of it, nothing over a 3 year old would enjoy. And the laundry, it is 5.50 to wash, 4.00 to dry, but EXPECT to pay $13.50 per load because the dryer does not work properly and you need to dry at least twice!!! (I brought that to the offices attention, and was told which one works “better” than the other, and she doesn’t set the prices.) Told her how my baby was sick so I was doing a lot of laundry and didn’t get offered any type of refund for my second round of drying for any of the loads I had to do. You also have to pay to shower as if you aren’t paying enough for the not working advertisements they put out there. We drove 5 hours and had this trip planned for a long time, just to leave really disappointed. So if you are coming for everything they have to offer, save a trip and find somewhere else with...

I want to start off by letting everyone know that I did read the reviews and my wife and I were hesitant to go there because of what we read. But I told my wife, "what the heck, I would like to meet this "Blonde" lady". Needless to say my wife and I spent 5 days at their campgrounds July 10-15 and we were both blown away at how clean and quiet this location was. I went over to inquire about golfing and asked the lady behind the counter what time is the earliest the time. She told me 8:00. I asked if I could go out earlier and they had no problem with that. As long as I knew that there would be staff working to make the course beautiful.....As it most certainly was. My wife and I will certainly be going to Canyon Creek at least once a year and I had the privilege of speaking to the owner (Blonde Lady) after I got home and she was wonderful. I can only ask that you give them a chance to impress you and I am sure that you will have the experience that I just had. I am not saying that some of the reviewers had a less than perfect experience and I wish that didn't happen. If you're camping you are part of the camping community and I wish you had as much fun as we did. Golf course is awesome and our neighbors that we had....Duane and Brenda, Thanks so much for your company and kindness. Thanks Canyon Creek and we will see...
