Beautiful campsite with waterfalls on site and access to many trailheads. If you enjoy camping, this is a great spot, though it's important to note this is more wilderness type camping compared to some places. By this, I mean there are no plumbed bathrooms or showers. There's outhouse only and a station pumping cold drinking water. This isn't a spot for "glamping" or those used to camping with plumbed facilities. It's important to note that depending on the time of year and the status of fires and the risk of fires, there may be a fire ban. We unfortunately we evacuated due to forest fires in Jasper. Though we were far away, the evacuation order was given for the entire park.

Stopped here for one night. We turned up - found a pitch available - and filled in the forms available from the little kiosk. A handy drop toilet was nearby to our pitch. There was a large supply of logs available (although we didn't use any ourself) The pitches (from those we saw) are all nestled in the trees - and very secluded. Many had a picnic bench - and fire pit outside. We woke in the morning to snow covering the camp. We will definitely stay here again when travelling through the area

Had a fantastic stay up by the falls (campsites 12 to 15) with the sound of rushing water to sleep with. The waterfall sound also helped with lots of privacy, and provided a sweet place to toss some beer in to keep chilled. It's a great "home base" for a few days of hiking so I'll definitely be returning.

This was truly so cool (literally!). It snowed on us some and the winds were blowing. They have this down to a silence, very easy transfers to and from ice. Only one issue, the guides unfortunately are not very educated on the glacier or on Canada itself. For example, our guide was telling us how the elk are in rut at the time of our visit which was in June, and to be very careful if we encounter one. Well, I'm no expert either but elk, deer, moose etc are in rut in the FALL!! Not in the middle of summer!! There were a few other examples which were wrong and it's too bad because the guides have a great opportunity to educate people on all kinds of things. Our guide was only interested in talking about himself literally the entire time! Except for the few errors! It would have been a much better experience without a guide. Otherwise it was so cool standing on an...

This was a lovely spot conveniently located close to the Columbia Icefield Visitor Center. First come, first-served tenting site with plenty of trees and shelter from the wind. There is an option to pay cash or credit using the envelope system at the entrance.||||We picked up some garbage in our site from the previous people, but overall, the area was well-maintained with clean pit toilets, cookhouse shelter, food storage lockers, and provided firewood. ||||It was very cold at night, but many layers and hot rocks in the tent helped. Quiet and enjoyable campground with beautiful mountain views. We arrived around noon on a holiday Monday and had a few empty sites to...
