We started going to Floatingstone Campground at the beginning of the year, and it has got to be our favourite spot to go camping. We love how nice all the sites are so clean and well taken care of, the beach is always beautiful, also the washrooms are always cleaned at 6am-8am every morning! However most importantly Bernadette, and Tim! They are the most caring and generous people to run the campground, they give our son a golf cart ride when they can, they sit and chat for a while if they aren’t too busy! We will be coming back every year as much as we can 🖤

We would just like to say how much we enjoyed our stay with you at Floating Stone Lake Campground. Very special thanks to the folks who take care of it. They are truly great ambasidors and went out of there way to assist us when needed and make us feel welcome and at home away from home. Thank for the great week. Denis and Cato.

Came camping here for 4 nights. Very quiet. Outhouses were very clean. They sanitize the washrooms 6 times a day! The on-site staff are very helpful with anything your looking for. The beach and lake are clean and great for boating. We’ll definitely be back

Great little family campground. Excellent beach all sites have power(so no generators). The one oarknis old but it looks like they are upgrading.

2022 update: came again this year for the 6 year for Canada Day. There was new management and they are not as good as the old management. Tons of drunk teen's making lots of noise and partying all night. Driving around the campground drunk and boating drunk. Shooting fireworks off at night. Management didn't do anything about it. They didn't put up the swimming rope this year and the drunks on seadoos almost hit multiple kids trying to swim. They now sell bundles of wood for $10.00 and we got 8 pieces of wood. The park was taken out and only replaced with 1 old seesaw and 1 new monkey bars. Pretty disappointed this year. Hopefully they can get it back to a family friendly campground as we use to love...

I have been to Floating Stone several times for a family event and overall found it enjoyable. There are outhouses in each loop and a shower house with a flush toilets is available. The toilet in the men's needs to be fixed as it was rocking on its base. The sites are of a decent size and well treed. Power is available on most sites. Water is not. They sell firewood for a reasonable price. While not under control of the campsite, the lake is currently not useable for swimming due to an algae invasion. This campsite is about 2 hours north of Edmonton, and easy to find with Google Maps as a guide. I would recommend going if you are looking for a site with power and a...
