Ramada by Wyndham Conklin — Hotel in Alberta

Rooms are not the cheapest that's for sure but compared to the alternative it's set up in two different ways one I believe is for you know employees and the other one I think is set up for just you know extended stay work workers up in the area who don't stay in any one of the camps at the locations there. They don't have a restaurant on site in the hotel but there is Karen's restaurant right across in the parking lot it does have a limited menu in the restaurant but it's good food. The hotel has all the amenities mostly given that you're there probably on business would like to see more of a fitness room expansion pool would have been nice but probably would have just added cost and likely unused given most workers are there for extended hours during the day. Staff there is really awesome pretty accommodating again it's one of those areas that you're limited for a selection and although there are some open camps in the vicinity the open camps are significantly higher priced than this and I'd rather stay here collect my points and get a good...

Stayed here for a business trip and after a long/late drive we were greeted with pleasant front desk personnel who was accommodating in some small admin requests that we had. As it was late, there was one restaurant that was due to close but front desk person advised that we should be able to get food until 9:30 in lounge. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Used the Gym while there as well, which was well supplied with treadmill, weights, universal machine, bike, stair stepper and large medicine balls. Did not really eat breakfast but morning spread looked appealing with waffle maker.||||Appreciated the satellite TV offering on account of remoteness...

Exactly what we needed!! We thought we had to drive another 150 kms to get some sleep!! But NO!! There it was ...not 500 meters away...a sparkling, NEW...Ramada!! An oasis in the frozen night.||We were met by a very polite and willing night -manager, that had us in our spacious room in a matter of minutes.||Staff was very friendly and helpful.||(Just a note: We have never had a hotel with "Soft" and "Firm" pillow choice...Makes it really feel like a home experience.
