Had an amazing time at this campground this past weekend. The sites are very clean, & fairly private, which I really like, especially if you're an introvert like me. Also, the owners are absolutely amazing, very kind, & helpful. I had a lot of fun, will definitely be going back!

Quaint, but lovely. Really quiet with friendly and helpful staff. The spots are very nice and the whole park is exceptionally well maintained.

We were there this past weekend (July 2023). The sites are fine and the campground itself is ok (small beach, 2 parks with swings and small structures... nothing great). The water unfortunately has a green algae bloom. Obviously not the campgrounds fault but something to note if you are thinking of going July/Aug. Our main problem was with one of the owners (the man). He is very rude and constantly in your business. He came over to our site, started looking in the garbages that were near the end of our site and pointed out that lots of the garbage in there can be burned. When we told him we had just arrived and so the garbage wasn't ours, he ignored us and continued to say we should burn it. Later, when I was at the park with my kids and my nieces, he drove into the park on his quad and noticed that someone had flipped the swings over the bars to make them taller (they were like that when we arrived at the park - I have young kids). He walked over to us, pointed, and said "if I ever see a kid doing that to the swings, I will grab them by the hand, bring them back to their campsite, and they can all pack up and leave". He then proceeded to go say the same thing to the other family at the park that were there with toddlers. I get wanting to keep your equipment in good condition but it's a metal swing set with metal bars and metal chains. To say you'd ever consider touching someone else's child and that you'd ask the entire family to leave over something so small is ridiculous and innapropriate. We definitely felt uncomfortable any time we saw him after that. We will not be going back to this campground...

Park needs some “fresh” management. I have heard from friends that the caretakers have been nosey, rude and threatening to campers. Haven’t had any issues in the 2x we have been there except the constant warnings about people getting kicked out. Which is none of my business so not sure why the male caretaker needs to broadcast it to strangers? Lake is always gross unfortunately and the playground could use an update as well as the shower buildings (coin machines) and proper ventilation. Could have a lot of potential in the...

Visiting from Texas, relaxing quiet evening playing Bach ball with grandpa and the kids. The park was empty, clean, and quite nice but the caretakers kept coming by and yelling at us that we parked in the wrong place. Even though we called ahead, spoke to them when we came in, and offered to move our RV, they continuously came by to harass us. We left promptly at 9pm and won’t be coming back - ever. They need to find more friendly and...
