Bramasole Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Alnwick/Haldimand

We had planned to stay at Bramasole as a quick stopover on a little bike tour around Rice Lake, as it was conveniently located at our half-way point. It turned out to be so much more than just a place to crash...

First off, Joseph's attention to detail makes this one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in. The rooms, the house, the whole property has been meticulously redone to provide a sense of peace and tranquility, which we felt from the moment we arrived.

Second, the service was exceptional. Joseph went above and beyond for us, even going so far as to drive us in his own vehicle to a nearby restaurant to get takeout, as we were on bikes and arrived too late in the evening to go out somewhere. He made sure we had every comfort, and even made sure we were all set up to watch the World Cup finals first thing the following morning.

But all that aside, Joseph is a genuinely kind soul who wants nothing more than to make the world a better place by making people feel welcome and at home. You will see that he signs off all of his communications with "Much Peace" - he sincerely lives by that.

My wife and I booked Bramasole as a place for us and our families to get ready for our wedding. We did not expect it to be one of the major highlights of the day but it certainly was! I’m not sure exactly how to review this experience without entirely underselling it. Everything about our stay there was immaculate. From the rooms to the property and the food (exquisite creations) and the most lovely part of it all - the host, this gem of a Bed and Breakfast is a must-see and experience for anyone. The thought and effort that Joseph has put into this space is truly stunning. He and his two very friendly and lovable dogs, Maggie and Quinn, are the most wonderful hosts imaginable. My wife and I sincerely can’t thank them enough for making our big day so incredibly special and we will never forget our stay at Bramasole. My only regret is that it was too...

We recently stayed at Bramasole Bed and Breakfast in Northumberland County, near Warkworth, Ontario. We cannot say enough about this magical place. The grounds remind us of Tuscany. The house is impeccably decorated. Joseph is such a gracious, cheerful host with his two lovely Westies. Our room was again, beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful details and modern conveniences. We will always remember sitting out on the porch in the morning overlooking the gorgeous view of the pond and being served coffee, warm croissants, blueberry jam and fresh fruit. This was followed by a sumptuous breakfast served in the dining room, adjacent to a living room/sunroom. We will definitely return when in the area again. Thank you Joseph and all the best....
