Lake Escape - Beach, Dock, Water Front & Back, Lake Erie, Ontario - House & Loft Apartment Unit — Hotel in Amherstburg

My spouse and I stayed at the Loft Escape Apt Unit for 3 nights and wow, what a lovely space it is! It was perfect for us, we have family living in the main part of town in Amherstburg so it was so convenient/close to travel back and forth to visit and also have our own waterfront vacation at the same time. We found that the layout/design of the loft/apt was so well thought out with it's modern conveniences and overall comfortable feel. Cleanliness was top notch. The A/C unit operated very efficient and served us well as our stay was in the middle of the heatwave. We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard waterfront view of Lake Erie as we had a full afternoon away from family to just kick back in our chairs and enjoy the view of the waves. Lastly, Tim our host was so accommodating and personable. The few enquiries I had, he replied right away and was always there for us if we ever needed anything. We got to meet Tim when he arrived to take care of some business with the main house portion of the of the rental while we were passing through on our travels. Amazing lakeside escape!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed is comfortable, bathroom and patio are excellent. Location is incredible and so is the host Tim ! He was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He was also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean. It had lots of lovely personal touches/local design. There was also a small compact kitchen perfect for 2-3 people. The place is very close to trails and there are ton of activities that can be done in 15-20 mins drive from the location. Tim provided us with a guidebook which really helped.

Would absolutely recommend...

There is absolutely no shortage of things to do while you are out in this cottage. Swimming in lake Erie, having bonfires, and staying until sunrise watching movies. For me, what made this experience more beautiful, was the sound of the waves in the early morning. It's the soothing sound of the water crashing down that makes me feel like everything's going to be okay. The owner was very commutative, very kind, and an outgoing person. Me and my friends stayed at this cottage for 3 days, and it was the best escape we could have ever wished for. If I ever had the chance, I would clear up whatever I had scheduled to do it all over again....
