The Columbia Wetlands Outpost Lodge — Hotel in Area A (Kicking Horse/Kinbasket Lake)

This place was absolutely awesome! The cleanliness? Spotless. Not a speck out of place. Everyone we met was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The beds? Like sleeping on clouds that have been personally fluffed by angels. Firewood? Unlimited. You could build a log cabin with what they’ve got stacked up. Even the BBQ was a work of art — I half expected it to be in a BBQ Hall of fame. Honestly, I have zero negatives to express about the CWOP.

Now… time for the real talk. The slip-n-slide. My. Gawd. You think you’ve slipped and slid before? You haven’t. The speed of sound is Mach 1 — that’s cute. This thing will launch you into Mach chicken. One second you’re at the top, the next your soul has left your body and is sending you postcards from the bottom. I’d come back here for the slide alone, and I’d bring friends just to watch their faces when they realize what they’ve...

We stayed at the Outpost Lodge from January 28 to February 5, 2024, and as of today, February 21, 2024, I still haven't received the $1,000 deposit back. Despite several attempts to contact the management, I've received no responses and no refund. We didn't cause any damage, nor did we receive any complaints from the owner or management.

The lodge is inconveniently located far from essential amenities—such as stores, ski lifts, snowmobiling trails, and hot springs. Additionally, the internet connection at the lodge is very slow. While we had an amazing trip, our experience with the lodge itself was...

Absolutely epic disc golf course!!!! This is now my favourite course I have ever played. Mark the owner had the course professionally designed and then he brought it to life.
