We just spent 5 days camping at Robert's Roost Resort and it was an amazing experience! Rachel and Adam (the managers) were extremely welcoming and accommodating. They stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure everything was running smoothly for us. The power and water hook ups were easy and convenient to access. The Bathroom/shower and laundry facilities were clean and close to the camp sites! The atmosphere of Robert's Roost resort was calm and serene. Super friendly people. The place was quiet at 10 pm and the views were breathtaking at night. The lake was super close and there's a ton of green space for a good game of booce ball, to throw a frizby or play a game of baseball! We spent our days on the paddle boards and pontoon boat which Robert's Roost rents out for an awesome price! The playground/Waterpark was awesome for my kids to play at! We booked our next stay (for a few days longer) in August, before we even left, because we love this place SOOO MUCH!

Michelle and Niel were very accommodating to our group. We were there for a group camp and we stayed at the group campsite. The shared kitchen shed was very spacious, good counters for "team" cooking, nice sink to wash dishes, bonus! There were power outlets to charge our electronics. The washrooms were excellent! Always clean and supplied with paper towels/toilet paper. The kids and adults got to to play in the sprinkler. The kids also got to play in a bouncy water slide. We got to rent a boat so we can go around the Dragon lake. We also jumped off the boat into the middle of the lake for a nice swim. Another bonus is to see deer near our campsite. Wide spaces to fly a kite! Lots of RV spaces as well as tent sites. Definitely a go to place for vacation/stay in Quesnel. Loved that they are near downtown too so we got to see nice places around town.

We stayed at Robert’s Roost Resort for 3 nights and had an amazing experience! The service was excellent from start to finish. It happened to be my birthday during our stay, and the operator went above and beyond — dressing up in a dinosaur costume to deliver flowers my family had sent and even singing me Happy Birthday! Such a fun and thoughtful surprise. The lake is beautiful, and we enjoyed lovely sunsets each evening. One highlight was renting the pontoon boat for an evening troll and fish — it even had a BBQ on board, so we cooked and enjoyed dinner out on the water. The showers and laundry facilities were spotless and well maintained. We didn’t use the cooking building, but it looked fantastic — clean, well-lit, and perfect for an evening BBQ. Highly recommend this resort for its warm hospitality, beautiful setting, and well-kept amenities!

We have family in Quesnel and stayed at Roberts Roost about 8 years ago and Tented. Back again and very happy we decided to return. We stayed here on August 4, 2025. First I booked an extra day and forgot. It was such a nice surprise to receive a call from the resort host asking if we were still coming. I said thank you so much for calling I had my days mixed up and please hold our spot. No issues what so ever. We had a good laugh on the phone. Upon arrival I met the lady who I spoke to on the phone and she was so welcoming, and happy to explain everything I needed to know and had a map and information booklet all ready for me. Such a wonderful greet. We have since upgraded to a travel trailer. We had full hook ups, power, water, and sewer. Over looking the lake. So peaceful and relaxing. The RV sites are close together however they have put privacy fencing and shrubbery to make it a bit more private. Bathrooms & Showers are extremely clean. You need to pay however, well worth it as I do appreciate how clean the bathrooms were. Grounds were clean and for all the dog owners out there the Hosts have put a nicely mowed maze off leash area for our fur babies to enjoy. Our dog loved it! We loved it! A small easy walk to enjoy views of the lake, tall grass, trees, and open field while looking at big moons, double rainbows and wild life. The folks camping, and RVing were extremely friendly and nice to see the resort hosts walking the resort conversing, and enjoying the visitors. Thank you to everyone who makes the resort run so well. We had a fantastic time and will...

Awful experience . The owner came over and said 2 out of 3 of our sites were evicted for “partying” . We had family from different provinces come together who hadn’t seen each other in years. We literally sat around a fire past quite time. No partying what so ever. It states to keep it down past 10 ( quiet time) . They literally just wanted us to go to sleep at that time , I guess. Regardless , we had one neighbour come over and ask us to keep it down and we respected that , quieted down and went to bed 20 mins later. The owner accused us of having music blaring at 5 am which was ridiculous . It was actually the site beside us who blared their music while they were leaving at 5 am . We had 2 toddlers sleeping, obviously not blaring music on our sites . We had our family aged mostly between 70-95 sitting around the fire with us. However when we mentioned this to the owner she down right said she had us on camera ( which obviously was a lie ,we were all asleep) at 5 am partying with music on and that we were liars. If there were in fact cameras she would have known this . We had nothing to play music on and none of our vehicles were running. It she had cameras she would have clearly seen that. She refused to let us speak and full on called us liars . She even went as far as to come out and yell at my 75 year old aunt when she was coming to visit us at our site ( not knowing we had been evicted) . No refund. Nothing, Just ripped us off for 3 sites. At the end of the day , I would never suggest this...
