Disappointing Customer Service Experience

I would like to share my experience with this establishment, which unfortunately is not positive. I recently planned to stay at this place, but due to a fire in the area that posed a safety risk, we were unable to make the trip. I requested to cancel our reservation immediately, providing notice well in advance to avoid affecting the business. However, I encountered a total lack of empathy and professionalism from the owners.

Despite the seriousness of the situation and multiple attempts to contact them, my requests were ignored and the response from the owners was disappointing.

The owners’ attitude towards their customers is unacceptable. Good customer service is essential, especially in exceptional circumstances like the one we faced.

… What is even more surprising is the sarcastic response I received, suggesting that staying there would have helped me gain serenity. This lack of professionalism and respect toward customers is completely unacceptable.

Furthermore, in our multiple communications, the owners have shown a negative and disrespectful attitude. As a paying customer, I am within my rights to express any aspect related to the establishment that I have experienced, in this case with the customer service provided.

I strongly recommend that future customers consider other accommodation options where guests are valued and respected appropriately. The lack of professionalism and respect from the owners here is a clear example of what customer service...

We had an incredible time here. From the moment we arrived, Ron made us feel right at home with a warm welcome and helpful tips about the area. The location is perfect for nature lovers. The amenity provided was equipped with everything you need, and we especially appreciated the cozy campfire area where we spent our evenings sharing stories and roasting marshmallows. We stayed in the Elska cabin and it was exactly as described. The riverfront site was private, included a few seating options and a firepit (which we didn't use due to fire ban.) The composting porta potty was a short walk but easy enough, especially with the mini lantern included in the cabin. In fact so many thoughtful inclusions could be found with this cabin; not the least of which was a "Patio Saver" butane-powered mosquito repellant device (THANK YOU!) |I'm a bit of a potty princess, and this one was spotless, as was the cabin.|We are absolutely planning on making a return...
