I booked Rossland Bike Retreat because it seemed from the listing to embody a lifestyle setting that to me is ideal: wide open mountain views, room to roam around, near but not in town, off-grid & somewhat secluded. Spending time here was exactly what I had hoped for - but with the bonus of my hosts kindness and generosity. Kate and Ed are easy to communicate with and quick to recommend trails, restaurants and services around the area, and friendly chats in the mornings/evenings made the experience feel like home. The cabin was perfect for my stay: there was ample (and clever) storage in the small space, the outdoor cooktop was just what I needed to prepare meals, I got a lot of work done (the internet signal is best on the porch) and the views from inside are of course stunning and framed so nicely in this modern drop structure. I sincerely can't recommend staying here enough - it is a stunning, calming, grounding place in the world. I look forward to returning in the future.

Perfect home base for our winter adventures : minutes from downtown, Red mountain and Blackjack cross-country area, lots of trails around town and in the Rossland range making it a hit for us (a couple of outdoor enthusiasts travelling with our old did). Unplug (internet and cell service spotty at the cabin), soak in the mountain view for breakfast and dinner (hot plates are outside on the small deck), and grab a beer at the local brewery and pick your choice of food at the amazing Ferraro grocery store. The cabin is warm and functional with a small kitchenette for basic cooking. The driveway is best left to SUV or sedan with chains. We would come back in a heartbeat in winter or summer !

Our stay at Rossland Bike Retreat was excellent! So quiet and serene with gorgeous views yet just minutes away from Rossland's charming downtown area. The awesome shower was a welcome break from time on the road. Kate was a great communicator and did everything to make sure our stay was perfect. Her trail and dining recommendations were spot on! We loved the daily visits from Duchess as well!🐶 100% would stay here again!

Kate and her family provided us with the most incredible location and experience for our annual bike trip. The accommodation was picturesque!! The most beautiful tiny home nestled literally on the side of a mountain!! What more could anyone want! Kate and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating, even shuttling us up a mountain to ride! We have already started to plan our next trip to Rossland where we will without hesitation be requesting a stay at Rossland Bike Retreat for a summer and...
