I had the most wonderful experience at Maple Heart Ranch! It’s a beautiful place run by an incredible mother and daughter duo who made us feel so welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived.

My partner, his daughter, and I had such a special time. It was my very first time being close to a horse, let alone riding one, so I was quite anxious at first. But their encouragement, patience, and deep knowledge put me at ease. You can really feel their love not only for the horses but for the nature around them—it’s such a peaceful and nurturing environment.

At one point, due to a pre-existing knee injury, I couldn’t continue the ride. Leslie, the daughter, called her mom who came all the way to pick me up and drive me back. That level of kindness and care meant so much to me.

We’re already looking forward to coming back and doing it all again—this time with even more confidence! Thank you, Maple Heart Ranch, for such a memorable and...

We only got to stay one night, but it was a great one! From the deafening silence after the animals have gone to bed, to the ink black skys lit up by a million stars, through to 6am rooster calls, warning off hawks, dogs chasing off bears. Oh, and don't forget the wonderful array of animals (goats, chickens, pigs, ducks, guinea fowl, horses, donkey) and breakfast brought to you...amazing 5 star place. The place is off the beaten track, but has cell service. You drive on a 4km gravel track to the place, it has plenty of potholes on the way and you may wonder where you're off to! It'll take 10 to 15 mins driving slowly, but its a great adventure just...

It was truly an excellent experience. My husband and I went for a trail ride for 3.5h. Conny and Rebekah, were very nice and helpful. We were beginners and they helped us to learn things very fast. We brush the horses, we fed them. They were very friendly and lovely. The horses were all young and calm and they know the trial so we really didn't need to lead them. It was very doable and easy for us as beginners. The trail was veryyyyyyyy beautiful, we passed beautiful woods, we passed the Christmas tree farm which was amazing. Oh I have to say the barn and the horses were very clean :) I absolutely recommend...

It is certainly*not* a standard accomodation. This is a working ranch, off the grid. They have running water and electricity off a generator. No TV but full functioning kitchen. Awesome place if you love animals and being close to nature . The goats are really friendly. Cozy little cabin. Bathtub / shower is the weak point. Loved the breakfast, and the hospitality.

This will be the quietest nights sleep of your life. Campsite was flat with plenty of space for the tent and truck and each have its own picnic bench. The site was secluded so no seeing neighboring campers if the sites are full. Very happy to be able to book last minute as all the BC parks are fully booked. Beautiful small town nearby and lots of wildlife.
