We had a great time in this lovely spot. The owner was lovely and very helpful, suggesting some wonderful places for us to go visit. We enjoyed the passing trains, the on-site doggies, the gorgeous view and the cozy cabin. We had satellite TV and wifi. Make sure you bring food with you, this is the wilderness. Closest spot for groceries is Valemount. We enjoyed cooking here - the kitchen has all the things you need. Be aware, the water smells like sulphur - we were provided with a big jug of water with a tap, and were offered more if we needed it. Plenty of hot water, and it didn't get uncomfortable inside even though it was hot outside. Nice and cool at night. Bring bug spray, you're in the bush. If you're lucky, you'll see a grizzly! Close to Valemount, Kinbasket Lake and tons of beautiful scenery. Very convenient for daytripping - we were able to do a daytrip to Mount Robson and Jasper, and the next day, a daytrip to Wells Gray Provincial Park. Thanks for a great time!

Fantastic stay at Bone Creek. Hosts were so kind and welcoming. Guard dogs on duty are so loveable and good with kids, while also doing their job of protecting the property from wildlife. So many hidden gems, waterfalls, fresh water drinking water springs, swimming holes ect. Our cabin was beautiful, clean and spacious for our family of 6. So comfortable. Running water, HOT shower with fantastic pressure, Flush toilet, and full kitchen. We will absolutely be returning and recommend to anyone, whether you are passing through, or looking for a place to settle in and camp. Thank you Mark and Micky! See you soon

Best place on earth! So much to explore, great hosts, great weather. We have been here over 15 times and always see something new. Update: 17th time here now, my family loves it. The cabin is so comfortable, and cool in the evening. The mosquitos didn't bother us what so ever, and you only hear the train in the day. Myself, husband, and 4 kids slept through the night not a bother in the world. The property is a true gem. Went berry picking, mountain hiking, mushroom looking, and so much more. Loved our time as usual! The hosts are top notch.

We were joined by my brother-in-law from overseas so it was essential we found a good camping site ( I was particular in requesting my daughter to find a good spot isolated, private, grassy with a good cover of trees ). When we left Calgary, I was hoping it would be a private lot and completely isolated as I wanted the youngsters in the family to have a roughing out. Easy life was getting to them !||||We reached Bone Creek and we saw a fabulous open space, a large house on one side, several cabins all one one side and were welcomed by Odin and Freya the dogs..from the time we met with the hostess and she offered us the use of the far side of the grassy area we were in two minds...though we had open access to the far side and the mountains, there was a railway line not far off...we decided to pitch in...it was inviting and we were tired...||||We quickly selected a spot ( there were several spots we could have had in a distance ), but due to a swarm of mosquitoes we did not venture farther..recent heavy rains had resulted in excessive mosquitoes in the whole area.||||The boys got to work and set up two tents, one for the kids and one for the adults. Our 5 day camping trip had started ! We loved it there...the manicured area was beautiful we had the dogs for company every morning...the kids had a open clean area to run around and play...we had easy access to Blue River and Clearwater and Valemount of either side...exploring the areas nearby was a pleasure... That part of BC, I've always liked...and was not disappointed this time as well. Both Mark and Jackie were incredible hosts, were very helpful, gave us tips on how to keep the camp safe..and we welcomed the discussions we had...they were a lovely couple, joined by their grand daughters for the holidays...We loved the place.. Wish to go back again, soon. Mark gave me a gift too, which I treasure and appreciate very...

THIS WOMAN FOUND ME ON FACEBOOK! I think that's super creepy... Just to badmouth me because I gave a well earned one star review. No words just a star... If I could have given less I would have. This person was Super creepy and if I were you I'd think twice about trusting this person that runs this dump. Plywood cabins that are discusting and you have to rely on the previous renters to have properly cleaned the dishes. All while we have a pandemic going on, I was charged $100 because I left dishes;which was supposed to be a $25 charge, but again I wouldn't want to rely on the last person to know how to clean dishes during a global pandemic. Not to mention there was dried food on most of the dishes. Ive stayed at Atleast 15 different places just that year while working out of town and I never washed dishes during this. I was encouraged not to wash dishes so the hotel could ensure cleanliness for the next tenant. Here's the kicker! I used the blankets off the 3 other beds to make a sound barrier to try and get some sleep while the train that was roughly 150ft away from my cabin blasted it's horn. It didn't work though and for the week I was there I didn't sleep through one night, the amount of trains that go past there is alot. And there is a road crossing so they blast the horn every time. She's rude and I hope you never receive the message I did from this person because I tell you it was not a good feeling. Sorry to anyone who's wondering what took me so long and honestly I was scared of backlash but now it's time to share my experience here to hopefully help people in the future. Also the water smells REALLY BAD if you don't like...

The remote location was a plus for me. However we didn’t bring enough supplies for the overnight stay and had to drive 25kms back to Blue Lake for food. We did fail to see a message from the host before arriving, suggesting we do some prior shopping.

The rustic cabin was small inside but cosy. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. The horn noise from passing trains was a bit sad as it detracted from the remote setting, but it was not too much of a problem. The host was very friendly and helpful. There was a eclectic mix of old, bespoke and new fittings which was interesting.

Disliked · It didn’t trouble me much that the drinking water was dispensed from a 20 litre bottle and this water tasted fine but the tap water definitely had a bad smell to it. We hadn’t gotten ill from the water 24 hours after showering and brushing our teeth with it, so it is obviously okay for that activity. We were informed to NOT drink the tap water but not informed why. Footnote: The owner saw my review on Booking.com and informed me that the tap water is from a well and is rated safe for all purposes except drinking. I have no other reason to...
