Woodland Cabins (Closed Until Oct 2026) — Hotel in Area C (Blind Bay/Sorrento)

Stayed at the Grande Fir Suite over September long weekend. The location is gorgeous, with great views right off the porch; it is sheltered away while still being relatively close to nearby amenities.

We stayed here while attending a wedding midweek on White Lake. This property was far and away the most popular of the nearby options at which our group resided. The ability to have a few guests over is quite an underrated feature of the area. The nature and scenery of the property is perfect but it was very nice to have the options of Wi-Fi and a TV for late or relaxing periods (or Playoffs).

The host Shaun was nothing short of phenomenal. Shaun was very professional in every aspect and we were able to communicate with him for any questions or needs very easily. From fly-fishing advice, to tips around the lake, and making sure we utilized the nearby fire pit area, by the end of our stay we felt we could chat with him as easily as any other member of our party. If you’re thinking of booking this property I highly recommend dealing with Woodland Cabins, and Shaun directly as opposed to using a third party site.

As we stepped into our Woodland Cabin getaway, we were enveloped in a sense of tranquility. The gentle rustle of leaves and the sweet songs of birds created a soothing melody that seemed to wash away the stresses of everyday life. With a wide range of activities both on and off the property, we never lacked for entertainment. We spent our 2 days exploring the surrounding area, taking leisurely strolls, and hitting up White Lake for some paddle boarding.||The plush bed in our cozy cabin was the cherry on top. After a long day of exploring, we would retreat to our haven and sink into the soft, pillowy comfort. The night's sleep was rejuvenating, leaving us feeling refreshed and revitalized, ready to take on the next day's adventures.||And just a short drive away, the breathtaking beauty of White Lake awaited us. From the minute I booked to the minute I arrived/left with a group of people - service was impeccable. Shaun and Brenda were amazing to communicate and advice of all facilities prior to booking. Upon arrival, Shaun greeted us and even went to order/collect and pay for a takeout as we arrived late due to construction on the main road. He wanted us to get comfortable and not get lost trying to find some food. Super sweet and not something you receive from any other airbnb/hotel service.

The rooms/beds were the best dreamy beds iv slept in. With somebody with a bad back, it was a treat. Fire and hottub and bbq were all amazing. Shaun and Brenda also have provided so many canadian games in the grounds and board games, you will certainly not be bored and want to enjoy the full facilities.

Overall by far one of the best places I have stayed. Super close to grocery store, great restaurants and hiking/paddling spots. Thank you Shaun and Brenda for making such a beautiful property and allowing us to share this with you. I cannot wait to rebook and bring some...
