The campground is set up for up to 9 hard-sided units and has 2 tenting pads. The RV sites are close together, the tent sites are up on a bench. Tenting is not allowed where there is frequent bear activity (e.g. when the salmon are running). The closest tenting that we found was in Hagensborg.
There is a small picnic area and a beautiful shelter at the site with large cedar doors carved by Nuxalk Master Carver Qwaxwqwaxwanm Alvin Mack.
This campground has a nice area by the river to view bears. The Tweedsmuir website says: "Peak viewing season September 1 to October 15". Keep in mind, however, that conservation officers are only at this site occasionally, so (as always)...
