Embarking on my fifth expedition to the Eagle Nook Fishing Resort in BC, Canada, this time accompanied by my close friend and his son, aged 11 and My son 13, was a fascinating blend of familiarity and fresh beginnings. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of British Columbia's landscapes, Eagle Nook Fishing Resort, guided by the seasoned expert Sean, masterfully intertwines tranquility with exhilarating fishing experiences, marking it as an ageless sanctuary.

Our chosen lodge, a charming hideaway nestled amid unspoiled nature, welcomed us back with open arms. For my son, revisiting this sanctuary felt like returning to a cherished place of memories, while my friend and his boy embarked on a new adventure brimming with anticipation. Spent 4 days with a few of my closest friends here the first week of September. Everything about this resort is amazing. Best of all is the friendly staff from the minute you get on the water taxi at China Bay you are taken care of with 5 star service. Meals are carefully curated to please everyone. My favorite appetizer was the scallops with risotto. Jeff was our amazing guide and worked very hard everyday on the water to ensure we were on fish and catch our limits, when fish weren’t biting the friendly banter was always great. As all the girls said how did you luck out with Jeff, completely not an understatement he truly is an amazing guide and a friend to all on board. When you are done fishing for the day the processing table was one of the most well organized and seamless operations I have ever seen. Even though this was the last week before the end of their season everyone had a smile and worked together to get it done. There are many activities to do when your not fishing, horseshoes, bocce, poker table, bean bags, golf, I would highly recommend bringing your hiking shoes for the 3 trails on the property, they brought back many fond memories of hiking the west coast trail. The rooms are always clean and well stocked. Views around the resort are incredible. Thanks for hosting us, it was an incredible trip. Enjoy your much deserved time off....

Just left this beautiful property on a float plan after a four night stay with our 18 year old grandson for his high school graduation gift. My husband who has been fishing for 60 years all over the world says it’s the best fishing trip of his entire life ... he’s never caught so many fish in three days. In fact we caught our limit for our stay and LOVED every minute. The staff, food, luxury beds & linens, wine & cocktails are five star ~ our guide Jeff knew the best spots, managed the boat completely and was so generous with his knowledge & expertise ... we played the best tunes while catching, saw whales breaching, dolphins and bald eagles ... then chef Jimmy & Benny met us at the dock with mid-aft lunch like chowder one day, quesadillas & margaritas another, followed by outstanding four course dinner that eve. We so enjoyed dedicated manager Samantha along with staff Katie & Emily. Thank you, owners Dan and Jeff for creating this five star fishing resort. We are...
