This park is easy to find on Hwy 95 just north of Moyie BC and south of Cranbrook, BC. The park has a large adventure style playground and a bike park located in the middle of the campground beside the large shower/toilet building. Paved roads and paved trails give this park good accessibility access. The beach near the campground has parking and a gravel/rocky shore line. Paved boat launch with pier and parking for trucks and boat trailers. The beach is not located at the campground. There is a public promenade to the each that crosses in from of private land that we did not find inviting and there is a road to the beach that does not allow RV’s so we did not see or use the beach when we visited. Showers, drinking water, trails, and sani-dump are all provided but no services at camp sites. There are multiple shower buildings making this a good destination park for your vacation if you don’t mind the location of the beach and rocky shoreline.

Swim swim swim, Boat, SUP, swim some more, Tan, and then swim again. This spot has a huuuge sand bar perfect for the little nuggets to run in the water and play Frisbee, there are washrooms with change stalls and a whack load of picnic tables both sheltered and non with lots of trees for shade and grass to relax sand free but a glorious soft sandy beach with a few pebbles and drift wood. A Glorious Vista and many many campsites for RV and tent alike at the campground right next to this day use area. This may be one of the best spots like it along the #3 Highway. Don't forget to hit up Nai'as Coffee and IceCream stand as well and Grab some hotsauce up in Moyie townsite at Blazing Bill's Hotsaucery.

Moyie Lake was paradise in the mountains. This fresh water lake is easily accessible by car and has multiple parking areas. The shore is sand with virtually no vegetation, and gradually gets deeper after 50 feet. There are smaller tide pools that are perfect for young kids and babies. The shore is also very kid friendly since it’s only a few inches deep to start and gradually declines. The views are stunning and the train that passes by is icing on the cake. Truly a special place šŸ”

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed our first evening with friends. I ended up taking my husband to the hospital in the middle of the night with a medical emergency. He spent a few days there and we had to find a new site as our reservation had run out. We had to stay until my husband was cleared to drive. The camp hosts and all of the other staff went over and above to find us another site and make sure we were comfortable. It was a scary time and their help meant everything to us. I would highly recommend this campground for a lot of reasons. The sites are large and mostly private, the beaches are nice and clean. One was Sandy and one was a little rocky but not bad. They also have a dog area. Bathrooms were clean. It is a 50% first come first serve campground. I hadn’t seen that before. My husband is doing well and we will be back....

This is a great place to bring your family for a day trip or camping. There are hiking trails nearby, a public Sandy beach, playground, flush toilet/shower facilities, boat launch and lots of interesting birds and animals to watch! Moyie Lake Provincial Park is a short 15 minute drive to Cranbrook and less than 10 minutes to the town of Moyie where there is a store/gas station/liquor outlet, the famous Moyie Pub and a tasty food truck or two. If you are into Geocaching there are many to explore and discover in and near the Park. Winter is also a great time of year to snowshoe or x-country ski around the campground road and nearby Meadow Trail. Ice fishing is very popular and you may just see ski kite sailers and an ice sailing boat on windy days! If you are really lucky you may see wolves, coyotes and elk using the frozen lake...
