Taylor Meadows is about halfway between the parking lot and Panorama Ridge and as such an excellent stopping step for backpackers on the way to Panorama Ridge. The trail from the parking lot climbs rather steadily, with a section of switchbacks that is a bit more challenging. As of mid July there was still plenty of snow on the trail and the meadows. The camping ground has 40 tent spots, some elevated while others are just a square on the ground. There are 2 shelters for cooking and eating and bear...

Great wooden tent pads, and decent sized sites. There's a shelter for eating, cooking and drying off and a bear cache right next to the shelter. Bugs weren't bad when I went at the beginning of July , but definitely bring bug repellent as taylor meadows has a reputation for having a lot of bugs. Lots of shade and a ~20 minute walk to the lake. Easy access to a stream for drinking, cooking...

Beautiful wild life, picturesque views. A great spot to take pictures. There is something serene about this place. Be careful as we spotted a black bear on our hike. Be safe and carry bear spray! A great walk just before you head to Panorama ridge or black Tusk. A great area for a stroll! I would definitely recommend walking through Taloy Meadows or even...
