We camped there this past Labour Day weekend. First time thereĵ.. it is a rustic campsite, lots of old growth trees and sites are spread out and more private. The sound of the river flowing is really nice. There is a couple of beautiful short trails to Buttle Lake. The lake is so beautiful and lots of shallow area to swim. The river water is super cold but the jlake is warmer. No cell reception and no street lights at night so it's a fabulous place for star gazing. Outhouse/pit toilets only and they are 'meh' condition, lots of flies and a bit nasty looking. The park rangers do come regularly but the sanitizer dispenser was broken the entire time we were there. Also, there is no general store to get woods and ice. The park rangers sell woods but it's a hit and miss to find them. They do not sell ice, so come prepared. Luckily we didn't have mice problem and the wasps problem was not that bad..

Very beautiful campground, well maintained, no cell service, bathrooms cleaned every morning - however about 20 flies would come out of the toilet and wasps get stuck in there do it was a little stressful to go-to the bathroom. Sites were a little dusty but no big deal. The main issue was the mice got into our car overnight and ate into all of our dry goods so HIGHLY recommend sealed snappable containers for all food even if it's in the car. Beach was beautiful and trails by the bridge were taken care of (except one large tree that you have to climb over). We did have to leave a day early because of the forest fire slightly north of us and all of our stuff got covered in ash, but otherwise we would have stayed the 3 nights and been really content.

As I entered the outhouse for the first time, it seemed to be in an acceptable condition. As I raised the lid, I was mildly disturbed to see a couple flies, and then hundreds of flies burst forth like demons from hells, swirling in a tornado. I struggled to describe the feeling in my stomach as the tornado swirled around me and I mustered the strength to sit in the throne of flies. Eventually my primal needs overcome the horror and disgust. As the deed was in the doing even more flies broiled and buzzed beneath me. Very beautiful place myra falls was amazing.

Absolute mice infestation. We woke up about 9x in the night to the mice on top of, in the walls of, and in our trailer. Chewed through our canvas dufflebags, chewed through guitar cases, chewed through avocados, peppers, bananas, luckily the rest of our dry goods were sealed. We decided to leave at 4am since we were unable to sleep with the constant gnawing and feet pitter pattering in the trailer. Visibly had about 6 in the trailer they chewed through our weather stripping on the outside. When we were packing up to leave (we were meant to stay two nights) there were mice inside the jeep, inside the bumper and the spare wheel. If brave enough to face the mice plague, spray your belongings with mint, get bars of irish spring, and maybe some mice traps if you want to sleep...
