We popped in here on a Sunday last month for a 1 night stay to try it out. I have driven past it 1000's of times but we always stay between Hedley and Bromley Rock. Looks can be very deceiving from the highway and knew there was more to it than we could see from the highway. We popped in and checked it out and loved it so much we booked it for this past weekend. It did NOT disappoint. Where else can you camp and not wear shoes the entire time you camp? This beautiful and well maintained campsite was next level. It was calm and quiet. We had neighbors on each side of us and couldn't hear a peep. It is a massive property with big sites. There are lots of trees, flowers and bushes. Access to the river. Flush toilets, water hookups on the river side. We brought our mister from home and plugged it into the tap. Lots of space for lawn games. Garbage cans everywhere. Owners checked in to see we were enjoying ourselves and to empty garbages and check bathrooms. They also came down to sell ice cream which is an awesome touch! The best part.... EVERY single camper was friendly and happy. They waved, said good morning and chatted. We met all sorts of people from Oregon, Langley, Coquitlam and even some from closer like OK Falls. We will be back. This little slice of heaven made for a very...
Read moreThis is a basic but well-maintained campground, conveniently located just off the highway (it was perfect for us as a one-night stop on our way back home), yet tucked below road level, so traffic noise is minimal. Easy check-in and check-out. The washrooms were very clean. The whole campground is grass (a nice change from the usual dirt/gravel pads you find in most provincial campgrounds), and many sites are shaded by trees. The river runs right alongside the campground. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and very...

There is only two washrooms for the entire camp so that can be an issue at times. But they are clean and flushable so that's a plus. The area is spectacular with fairly constant winds which can be a concern for awnings. We were there during run off so the high water made for a lot of mosquitoes but the constant breeze kept them manageable. Over all it's a great place to go and chill...
