We were on an exploratory journey through the region. We selected this B&B based on the reviews and I can say for sure we were not disappointed, on the contrary. We booked "the cottage" for one night but in hindsight we should have stayed more. Peter and Christine went above and beyond for making our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We enjoyed having dinner outside by the cottage watching the sunset over the mountains. The "cherry on top" was the breakfast the next morning. When we entered the breakfast room we were greeted by a perfect selection of delicious yogurt, fruits and freshly cooked omelet and french toast. So many to choose from. And all so tempting.
We were having a hard time to leave. We kept watching the goats and the horses in the fields and the mountains with white caps at the horizon.

Read moreWe had such a wonderful stay at Peter and Christiane’s place! We got to meet with all the animals from the farm (goats, chicken and ponies) and our 5 yo had an absolute blast and wanted to stay forever! He kept asking when we would be back! He was even able to ride one of the pony and ate fruits and veggies from the garden. There is also a little waterfall that the kids can enjoy when it’s very hot outside. We also stayed at the cottage and it’s perfect for 4 people. You can technically be with 3 kids since there is also a sofa bed. |Breakfasts were homemade and absolutely wonderful. It reminded us of Europe where we are originally come from. Please note that wifi doesn’t work in the cottage but you can get it in front of the main house. Nakusp also offers a wonderful walk by the waterfront and it’s extremely close...
Read moreWhat a magical stay we had at the cottage at Brouse Creek B & B. Our hosts, Peter and Christiane are so lovey and easy going and full of helpful information about the area. The location is idyllic and so peaceful. And yet only five minutes to Nakusp. As if this wasn’t enough, the home made breakfasts are truly memorable- beautifully presented, delicious, plenty of variety, set in the breakfast room in main house, with the mountains in the background. What a way to start your day!! If you are fortunate enough to stay here, you will not be disappointed. There is lovely assortment of animals, including two dogs (Lucy and Truffles) , a cat called Sweet Tea, goats, horses, and chickens - great fun for children but also for adults too! Looking forward to returning - thank you Peter and Chris for your outstanding...
