Hot Springs Cottage — Hotel in Area K (The Arrow Lakes)

Had 4 days of complete luxury and quiet natural ambience at this chalet overlooking Arrow Lake.. When I say quiet I mean not a sound. No traffic, no boats, no people, and no cell phone. It takes a while to get used to the silence but after a day or so you begin to restore your natural balance and with the wonderful hot spring fed hot tub which was built into the chalet patio, you can begin to totally relax and reset from a normally hectic life. The view from the hot tub is the lake and mountains in the distance.

My partner rented this for the two of us for a relaxing weekend getaway and it was, while sitting in the hot tub where none of the signs were visible. Otherwise, the interior of the cottage is covered in signs telling you what you can and cannot do and frankly, this really takes away from the experience. Because of the strict rules, we ended up bringing our own linens and towels so we didn't have to do all the laundry on our last day. Everything is quite outdated inside the cottage, which isn't a big deal, but the mattresses were so old, it made sleeping uncomfortable. But I guess that's what the hot pool is for the next day? In my opinion, it's overpriced...

This was an amazing escape for our honeymoon. Excellent communication and flexibility with the owners of the property always responding as soon as possible. We did however find the mattress quite uncomfortable, that’s the only reason we aren’t leaving a 5/5 review.
