First time coming since new ownership. We booked into one of the rustic cabins for the long weekend. The owner, Ron put in an air conditioner before we arrived and it was very much appreciated. The cabin is similar to a bachelor's apartment. ( This is not the Ritz-Carlton, so don't expect room service) Queen bed and hide-a-bed. 2 fridges, one bar sized, and one apartment sized, fridge/freezer. Plenty of room for everything. There's lots of cupboard space. The cabin comes with sheets, pillows, comforters and towels. There's a kettle, toaster and a Keurig coffee maker, no regular coffee maker, so bring your k-cups with you. There's enough dishes and utensils for 8, as well as pots and pans. We brought our own shampoo and bathroom stuff. There really isn't a close grocery store so bring what you require. The deck wraps around 2 sides and has a BBQ, Chimera and some seating. We really didn't have an issue with mosquitoes as the property has lots of cedar trees, which they don't like. I'm pretty sure that we will be coming back, but mostly likely with our trailer, they have full hookup. Due to the cost of gas and the reason for the trip we opted for the cabin.

Absolutely beautiful! The Owners Family had not opened yet but still had a space for us. So friendly, so clean. The washrooms were tiny but perfectly warm an clean. Hot showers included. They also had a perfect tip for us for a viewpoint as we left, gorgeous place behind the cemetery. Thank you for everything, all the best to you! We will come back one day we hope!

First time camping here and loved this campground. Owners were nice. Very quiet and secluded. The sound of the creek every day was so calming and peaceful. Great swimming areas close by and the golf course down the road is surprisingly challenging. Short drive to nakusp which is a very nice little town. Will definitely stay again.

Absolutely best time had at this perfect venue for our large family get away. Our group consisted of people with trailers who used the campsites and some family members who used the fabulous high end “cabins” ( they look rustic on the outside, but inside they are more like well appointed condos !). We were all able to stay close together so we could hear the children at night while we sat around the campfire. What a great spot and what great hosts!! Totally upscale super clean bathrooms for the campers, really cool bench seating areas throughout the campground, almost NO mosquitoes, quiet and beautiful, and 2 minutes to the awesome Fauquier golf course. Angella, or Sean will give you instructions to the BEST sandy beach less than 5 minutes away. Dog and family friendly this gem of a campground/cabin rental is NOT to be missed! Can’t wait to come back next year with the family and later this summer with our...

My fiancée and I camped here in our tent for one night.

We were greeted by a very friendly family. Ron, the owner as of January 2018, was really engaged and wanted to make sure we would enjoy our stay. He gave us a tour and let us pick the site we wanted. He checked in later to make sure we had everything we needed.

The grounds are well kept. The campsites are flat gravel areas. Some open, some among the trees.

The bathrooms are beautiful, clean, modern. The lights are on a sensor so the room is bug-free. The nicest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campsite. Includes a shower stall and hot water.

Firewood is by the armload. Ron made it a fun challenge and encouraged us to take as much as one of us could carry. He helped us pick the right mix of small and large bits.

The family's kitten, Paws, is adorable and spent a bunch of time with us as we set up camp.

Thanks for...
