This is our 3rd time at Moosehaven Resort and once again enjoyed our 3 weeks. Russ and Michelle take great pride in the resort and make sure that all their guests are taken care of and enjoying their holiday. ||||Russ went over and above for us when we found out that both our faucets in our 5th wheel went at once. Realizing there was not any mobile RV services close, he offered to replace them for us at a great price and we just had to drive into 100 Mile House and buy the faucets. This could have ruined our holiday and we would have had to go home for the repairs but we were so thankful for all he did. ||||Enjoyed having the fox come visiting and seeing the deer just walking through the campsite. The fishing was pretty good as well. ||||First time having our family join us for a couple of days. Our granddaughter is lactose intolerant and after running out of the ice cream she can eat, he went into his home to find a popsickle for her. I could give more examples of them going over and above for us. but these are the things that make Moosehaven Resort such an awesome place to come and relax. Thanks Russ and Michelle for all you have done to make this another great holiday. ...

My husband & our 2 grandchildren, ages 14 & 16 stayed at Moosehaven resort from July 21-25|We booked unit 9, a 2 bedroom park model with a covered patio right on the lakeshore, with a stunning view down the crystal clear lake|This a perfect resort for both adults & children as evidenced by so many repeat customers|They have several lakefront cabins plus the park model we stayed in as well as a nice sized 5th wheel RV & a 2 bedroom travel trailer, all of these units are covered & feature lovely covered decks|They also have many RV sites, many that are pull thus & all with lots of space between sites, no crowding here. |They offer a water park for all ages & while we were there they launched a new feature, a floating iceberg climbing feature. |The lake is very clear & offers great paddle board, kayak & camping opportunities. |This lake has great fishing, having both rainbow trout & large kokanee. |It is a very popular resort so book early or watch for cancellations. That is how we lucked out getting a cabin this year. |The owners are very pleasant, helpful & wanting everyone to have a good time|It is very quiet, not a party place |I...

We had a wonderful stay at Moosehaven Resort and Campground during our Canada RV road trip, spending two nights here in mid August. The location is beautiful, right on Hathaway Lake. It’s peaceful, and away from crowded tourist areas. The campground is very well cared for. The playground is clean and the lake activities were a big highlight for our family. There is a slide into the water, a climbing iceberg, a trampoline, plus kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, stand up paddle boards, and life jackets available in every size. It is a great setup for both kids and adults to enjoy. We really appreciated the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It is the kind of place that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy time together, whether as a couple or as a family. Moosehaven is family-run and you can see the care and attention the owners put into making it special. If you respect the grounds and take in the surroundings, it is the sort of spot that leaves you with really good memories. We would happily recommend it.

Fantastic, Russ and Michelle are the bestest hosts ever, we felt so welcome from the minute we called them. They are just great, loved a welcome beer with Russ. Clearly they are passionate about their awesome site, continuous improvement, not that there is much to improve, all i can say is it will always get better. We felt like part of a large family for our few days and nights there, but still felt lots of privacy. We'd come back in a heartbeat, but its a long way from Ireland, kids already want to come back next year, or year after, or year after that. They asked for a review in Gaeilge (or Galic), but who'd understand that? So here it is in english, we loved our time there and feel everybody else will also.

Stayed here in our travel trailer for 10 nights in July with our two kids, aged 10 and 6. Really pleasant place to stay. Peaceful with lots of wildlife to spot. Was a mix of retired couples and families with kids. Lots to do onsite and great to be able to rent a fishing boat and other water craft to enjoy the clean lake that is right on your doorstep. Well maintained facilities, reasonably priced firewood, and a nice welcoming and chilled vibe without too many regimented rules. Wifi was a little in and out but worked well most of the time. A surprisingly well stocked convenience store (more of a mini supermarket) about a 10 minute drive away at the local gas station. Very recommended.
