My first time here and the kids first time skiing. I found this place on Google, and the positive reviews do not do this place enough justice. I've been to a handful of ski resorts and skiing locations, but this was one of my best experiences. To start, the staff here were all extremely friendly and accomodating from fitting to tickets to the restaurant. The staff on the lifts were also very helpful with the kids, especially because they were first timers on the slope. The instructor, Cameron, was awesome. Shout out to him as he approaches his 50th year of teaching! The other main reason why we'd come back to Harper was the lack of lines. Whether it was the tow bar or T Bar lifts, there was virtually no wait time which made it that much more fun for everyone. One word of advice for visitors not accustomed to driving on cold or snowy conditions, make sure to check the weather report and bring chains. It snowed the second day, so we had to pull over on the side of the mountain to put on chains. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip early due to an injury, but we may make this an...

I like supporting family owned local businesses. But there needs to be a balance between customer service and price. Great price, but the service was not the best. We wanted to buy half day passes and we were there 4 minutes early. But they wouldn't let us pay 4 minutes before!! There was a whole group of ppl standing around getting in the way of the ski rentals waiting the last couple minutes to buy a half-day pass. At other ski resorts if you are early they are flexible enough to let you buy half day passes 15-30 minutes before. I wasn't impressed. Ski trails were good, the chair lift is very long, remember to bring a snack. It is so long I can ski 4-5 runs using the T-bar while I ski 1 run on the...

Tubing is great compared to sun peaks! They help you clip your tub to a wire that runs you up a hill. The trip up is always smooth and safe. You may get stuck at the top but that's the only downside. The lines are never long. The only thing is that is they have 2 runs open at once usually. They are very safe when sending people down the slope. You can race against other people. The max people is five. Very fast too! They do not make you wear a helmet or goggles but these are great things to wear while tubbing. Glasses are good too! Great tubes. Never had a hole or a problem with my tube when I went there many times....

Great alpine resort! They’ve got skiing, snowshoeing and tubing. The prices are awesome: about half of what you’ll pay elsewhere. They have instructors who are very nice actually. The staff were very helpful. Perhaps the restrooms could use some work. I didn’t are much for the food but they’ve got hotdogs, poutine, burgers etc. and some drink options. Excited to check it out in the Summer - I hear they’ve got some fun activities up there. Worth a visit!

A Hidden Gem of Kamloops, must visit if you're into skiing/snowboarding or just want to check out the hill and perhaps do some tubing with the Kids. The only Night Skiing / Snowboarding available in the area and it's a blast with a few friends. Don't forget to stop in at the lodge after riding to warm up and have some drinks and food near the fireplace. Close to town, friendly local vibe and all around great family fun.
