Planned a trip to the Cape and was looking for a place to stay. Cane across Cheticamp Outfitters Inn based off reviews and gave them a call to check on availability. Spoke with Michelle who is a very lovely lady about availability and there just happened to be a cancellation. We were driving up from Turo which is around 3.5hr drive to cheticamp, so by the time we left on arrival was 1pm. Greeted by Michelle and her grand daughter and check is was a breeze. Assigned Room #2 which was a nice cute room with all amenities. Fridge was stocked with water, cream for coffee and even ice cubes in freezer section. Kerig machine with two different types of coffee's, tea, sugar. Tv on the wall with Shaw cable. The bathroom was outfitted with all the items you would find at a major chain hotel. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The location is fantastic to local restaurants and activities that cheticamp and Cabot trail has to offer. The price, $150 / night which is unbelievable!. We had such a great experience that we were lucky to stay another night and hike the Skyline trail which amazing. If your ever in Cape Breton and need a fantastic hone base, you won't go wrong with Cheticamp Outback Inn.

This is one beautiful place to stay! Michelle was a wonderful hostess. Soon after we arrived, she brought over a Treasure Chest of items for the kids pick through. Then she brought some cupcakes and a bowl of candy. She said if we needed anything to please let her know. The entire suite was beautifully decorated. There was no shortage of dishes, linens, towels, toiletries, etc. There was even complimentary tea, coffee KCups, creamers / milk in the fridge. Even bottles of water. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you Michelle for your hospitality! P.S. The Wifi was great too.

First off, adorable! It was just so welcoming and cozy, and the room was so clean you’d think you’re the first guests, ever. The most important note is, you could not want for anything. These innkeepers have thought of everything, and I mean everything. The room is well equipped, right down to earplugs in case your partner snores. These thoughtful inn keepers even leave snacks and sodas for you. There is even a guest lounge that actually has a washer and dryer! And it’s very comfortable. We had a great night. If we ever in this area again, this will be my number one stop.

We often write feedback when we are not happy and I am like that either. We forgot that some people are above the others and those people here was so above the rest that I had to write a ''happy" feedback. I was on a bike trip with a friend when we arrived a Cheticamp. We don't make any reservation on trips because we don't know where we’re going to be at the end of the day. Yes, it was adventurous sometimes but we are still alive!!!.... So we stopped at Cheticamp at 8pm and started to call some places to sleep. We were in October. Maybe on 7 or 8 we called, nobody was answering. We even got a registered message "After 6pm, send us an email." And someone that send us an SMS after our call. I think the Cheticamp Outback Inn was the third place we called and they were the only one who answered. We were not very hot at first because it was looking far from the main village activities. But in fact they are next to a direct road that brings us right in the spot. No turn here, turn there, wait for the light... very easy. After all the calls (unanswered), I call them back to say that we are on our way. The owner was there waiting for us with a very charming welcome. She took the time to show us the available rooms and make them cozy before we arrived. It is an old school as we learned after and everything is new or renovated. I do one or two motorcycle trip a year with 3500km min for 20 years now and I've seen a lot of places... I think it is the first time I've seen all those little attention from the owners that make them above the rest. Like, you know for the morning coffee, I've never seen other things than chemical whitening powder. Here, at our visit, she opened the fridge to show us that there was some cup of milk and cream for our engine startup drink there. Other little thing, there was a laundry basket in the bathroom. Above all, they are very charming people that show real interest of where you’re coming from, how your trip is and suggests you things. They are probably not from the lodging industries but one thing is sure, a lot of them should learn from those peoples. On all those years of riding, there is probably only two or three places I will always remember because the experience was so good and they sure one of those. That place is for sure a...

If I could give the Cheticamp Outback Inn a 10 I would. I went with a friend bc we needed a quiet place to just unwind. This Inn does that and more. We were met by the owner Michelle who then brought us to the suite they have. It has a kitchen, living room with fireplace, bedroom and a Murphy bed. Michelle is one of a kind and was so kind and helpful. She even brought us homemade bread and gingerbread cookies. We spent 3 nights and I would have stayed for weeks if I could have. Michelle knows where there are places to hike, walk, tour and just about anything you want to do. The Inn is in a beautiful area just a side road off main st. But it feels like you're out in the wilderness. I can't say enough about this Inn. They have single rooms but if you are more than 1 or 2 ppl then definitely get suite. Prices are amazing for the quality of the place. If you call direct instead of booking online it's a little cheaper and off season rates are very affordable. I will definitely be going back in the fall. May try to get there for my birthday. If you want an amazing experience with a very personal touch then you need to visit Cheticamp Outback Inn. Say hi to...
