Liked - Beautiful lush green grass trail with small surrounding plants and trees. Was lucky to see a deer family species and small birds Clean water in pool Quite a number of benches and trees shades across the park for picnicking Not liked - Pool base surface was rough which caused my family to get a rash on the sole so it needs caution while swimming or walking in the water No proper signs to get to the Wilkes Dam Bridge trail Not enough tree shades and benches beside the pool

Helpful and friendly staff! This conservation park has a broad spectrum of personality. Located near a small city, there are amenities such as groceries and other sundries. A large wading pool to cool down those hot summer days. (additional fee to access pool) Plenty of parking spaces, pull-through sites, and pavilions to rent. Pro tips: Bring insect repellent and a couple cans of an American style beer.

Very large park with lots of activities. Big swimming pool. Walking trails and river fun. It cost extra to do river activities. RV site was very large with plenty of shade. Water and electricity provided

I absoutley love camping here but getting frustrated that the staff doesn't always help us when it comes to certain things... I risked my own life to help their security out our a fire and couldn't even get as little as a thank you from the big bosses at the park only the 2 security gave us a thank you and that's because they were young and had things blowing up in their face that the 2 of them alone couldn't do it... it was intentionally set and they person that set it got away with it... I think I'm going to start looking for a new camp ground to go...

Pulled in really tired. The girl was super sweet and organized our spot explaining we would have to move the next day. We spent the night but couldn't use the shower as it was really gross. We got a refund for the following days and left because of the condition of the showers and public washrooms and they charged us for the full service at the plot we were moving to but, the septic hookup was damaged and could...
