Love it people are very nice That's was what my review said when we first set up camp September 29th 2018. However 2 weeks in to our 6 week stay. We were awaiting a etransfer to pay our camp fees. The camp host Laurie came down and stated she had paid Mike and demanding us to come up with The money NOW! We did get the funds that day. She then says oh you could have just paid me most of it. Then 2 days ago on the 9th she came and threatened us with extreme violence. Apparently the owners of the campground were going to come. The place is a mud put. We didn't even use electricity we were off the road and not even at a camp site. The out houses stank never cleaned. Atv's all hours of the night sneaking up on our tent with lights off. Wayne Lauries room mate would sneak up behind us all hours as well. People would crawl around with there lights off at 3 or 4 Am. Got kinda freaky. If u want tonrelax I would not recommend this place until they got rid of the Camp host Laurie. She became very ride and belligerent

The good - Friendly host. Beautiful mountain and river view. Location close and in the Fraser Valley. Affordable. Online reservations. Water/electricity hookups. Clean campground. Group camping accessible for sure. Cell service if needed. Seems like lots of camping spots available with overflow. The bad - the spot I wanted and that was available, I was told my trailer was too big for… only to show up and see an even LARGER trailer and 12x12 canopy in the spot. Spots along the water and in that area are bumper-to-bumper basically. Quiet time, if you’re quiet campers like us, was not observed or enforced. Our site had some garbage along the back that had been there for some time. $12 for 5 pieces of firewood. Worth a try, but we might not be back.

A campground that have a Home'y vibe, the kind of place you want to visit every weekend just because it isn't too far from the city and still feels you are at an island get away. Shops are close, and just minutes away from the main highway. Very close to famous tourist destinations like Chilliwack, Cultus Lake, Hope and Harrison Hotsprings. Jamie is amazing on accomodating us! My family and I including my renters do enjoy their stays Always! I just love being here on this campground and If I can stay longer, I really would! Very recommendable place to be. Inexpensive too compare to other private campgrounds. Choose to stay river front, wether your tenting or trailering.. Amazing spot along river side!

Worst experience ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We had booked a riverside spot at this campsite, but on the morning of our trip, the manager called and informed us that the site had been double-booked and was no longer available. She offered us either a cancellation or an alternative spot. We agreed to take the alternative, which turned out to be an overflow site located in an open field. We arrived around 1 PM, started setting up our tent and belongings, and began settling in. However, around 4:50 PM, the manager Jamie returned and told us we had to move again because the spot was apparently reserved for someone else. When we asked why she hadn’t told us this earlier before we spent time setting everything up she had no clear answer. When we questioned her further about our original riverside reservation, she became dismissive and asked us to leave the campground entirely. While working with people, atleast the manager should know about the customer service but unfortunately it didn't happened. The situation was handled very poorly. The overbooking was not our fault, and yet we were treated as though it was. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, the manager was unprofessional, rude, and completely lacking in customer service skills. To make matters worse, her tone and behavior toward us felt discriminatory and inappropriate. This experience completely ruined our trip, and I would strongly advise others to stay away from...

Five stars for the view, booking online, water and power at some sites. We had two sites overlooking the river which was pretty. The bugs weren’t bad at all - a few mosquitoes and wasps. The river is refreshing and although the current is too strong to swim out far it’s very shallow for quite a while so you can still have a fresh dip. A lot of families and groups but mostly it was peaceful.

Some of the fishing boats that belonged to campers were driven very erratically/loudly during the day. I think these may have been the same chuckleheads who got into a fight in the early evening and the RCMP and an ambulance showed up. They made less noise than the guys who seemed to mostly be drunk and yelling but it kind of killed any vibe we were enjoying. Leave your drama at home people!

Considering it was a long weekend there were not enough portapotties near the beach (or they should have been serviced on Saturday). We were glad to find one tucked away where it wasn’t getting much use because the ones closest to us were too full to use comfortably.

Most dogs were on leash but a couple weren’t which I don’t mind but if there was a less friendly dog this could have caused a problem. Leash your dogs as per the rules or leave them with a sitter for the weekend.

One rule that makes no sense is the two tent limit. If you’re allowed four people per site why restrict them to two tents. Not all single campers want to share a tent with their friend. The sites are big enough for more...

My family reserved a campground in advance to vacation time we had booked. Leading up to the time we planned to attend the weather forecast changed dramatically so I called to inquire if it would be possible to change our booking to a different day. I was told "no". I asked if it was possible if we stayed at a time that was not busy and lots of space was available as to not take away business. I was rudely told, "no this is your time, come if you want". I said I understood and I'll let her know if we could make it or not. ||My wife called and as she was respectfully asking for more information, Jamie, the employee interrupted her and hung up. We tried calling later to express that we don't understand why we are being treated so disrespectfully but no one would answer. I called on a different number and the phone was answered immediately. Once I said my name, Jamie began yelling at me immediately. All I did is calmy make an inquiry and to be treated like this is ridiculous. ||They have our money already so I guess this is how this business treats people. It is quite unfortunate to have this as a representation of this place. I highly encourage everyone to look elsewhere if you want to not be treated like a...
