This is more of a camp city than a camp village. Keep that expectation in mind. With 121 campsites the place is perpetually active. Barely a few minutes will ever go by without vehicles driving by your campsite. There is always going to be people noise from various casual camper groups as well. This place is barely 2km from the Walmart and Campbell River. It is extremely casual friendly. Also, despite the proximity to civilization, it has no functional cell signal. The hills and thick forest block it.
All that being said, it's not a bad place. The campsites are a bit narrow but they are well maintained. The roads around the park can handle larger rigs for the most part. Nothing to say but shrugged his shoulders, and sent me across the highway to a public parking space on the side of the road where I was able to park for the night. Not a great ending to a long hard day on the road.
Five stars for cleanliness and a well laid out campground. Zero stars for any real customer service. And to the Germans if you're reading this......
