Upon arriving guests are warmly greeted by Rosemarie who is the hostess and owner of this fabulous Bed & Breakfast resort. It is situated amongst a forest area. In a few minutes, is its private beach which commences as a serene cove. Only those owning property or their guests are permitted to enjoy the waterfront. Going out further, perhaps by boat, it stretches out into Georgian Bay.
Highlights:
Two wonderful large modern suites on the second floor have extra large jacuzzi bathtubs. One has a lake view; the other faces the dense woods. There is also a standard guest room on the main level.
Every morning a humongous break is served on a picturesque terrace. Everything is delicious. It is usually a leisurely start. It will be 2:30 p.m. before hunger returns.
Housekeeping is immaculate. The suites are kept in perfect condition. All is well maintained and the latest types of windows and bathroom fixtures are installed.
Proximity to downtown Parry Sound is an easy twenty minute drive.
Guests must make early reservations as many rebook prior to taking their departure.
When the musical presentations of "The Festival of the Sound" are held in mid summer to obtain a reservation is difficult. Nonetheless, it is important to contact the hostess and miraculously be very fortunate.

One is sure to have fond memories. Make sure to take an abundance of splendid photographs.

Read moreThis is my first experience with a Bed & Breakfast so I didn't know how things worked. I told that to Rosemarie and she was very helpful. No shoes allowed in the house which wasn't a problem. Got the room with a view of water and it was very nice. The doors had to be explained or they would've fallen off hinges. As long as you hold the door while opening it then there was no problem.||||The bed was very comfortable and the nights were very quiet. I slept well. Breakfast was good but I was hoping for the croissants mentioned in the other reviews. Oh well. ||||Rosemarie was very nice and gave you space. Only when you struck up a conversation did you get to know about each other. She was very kind and gave us words of wisdom.||||My only issue was the bill was more than I expected from when I booked the room. If she doesn't count breakfast in the price, I can understand why it cost more. I also tipped well. I don't know, it was just more expensive...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed at this quaint B&B in summer of 2018 - Rosemarie was a WONDERFUL host, such a lovely lady and super accommodating. The home was very cozy, clean and quite big so we did not hear any noise from other rooms, etc. It felt as though we were the only ones in the house! The breakfast was DELICIOUS! The highlight (for me) were Rosemarie's homemade croissants - yum! And of course the location was great - a beautiful property (we saw 2/3 deers in our short stay!) and not far from Killbear park. Thank you Rosemarie for hosting us, will be happy to come back...
