It seems to be a nice place to stay but perfumed cottages that don't go well with individuals with allergies (balsam/sandalwood/patchouli) the perfume is heaviest on the drapes and bathroom. A truck at 5:45am with loud exhaust out front of the bedroom for 45 minutes idling and revving. A bright light on the neighboring building pointing right at the bedrooms that have thin plastic shades make it like daylight through the night. A dog that barks at 7:10am. I couldn't sleep and my lungs are toast and will be for about a week. Friendly staff but not a relaxing place to sleep. A good couple nights sleep was the reason for coming out here. We stayed in the “Birchtown” 2 bedroom, jacuzzi tub bath and fully contained kitchen. Deck overlooks cove and owners allow use of canoe and kayak as well as fishing rods. It was a very clean and cozy cottage with tv, and wifi. After staying at the dingiest motels in town for the same price I vowed never to stay at one again! Read moreFirst time to Boulder cove but will not be our last! We arrived via atv trail. Seven couples on side by sides. The cottages are absolutely beautiful and everything you could ever want has been thought of. They even have a fully stocked book case. The view from my veranda was amazing , so serene and peaceful. We watched a lobster boat hauling traps. There are covered verandas with big barbeques so you can cook even if the weather isn't agreeable. firepits , hammocks, a childrens playground absolutely anything you would need is here.
