I absolutely love this place. The spot is beautiful and the owners, Melissa and Todd, are wonderfully accommodating. Their top priority is making sure you have a great time and feel right at home, making it easy to relax and enjoy your stay. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere with friendly people all around.

There’s a beautiful fishing spot and a hiking trail as well. Even without catching anything, it’s hard not to enjoy the view and calm waters. There definitely are fish to be caught though, a family I was fishing with caught quite a few smallmouth bass. Be sure to bring live bait, leeches seem to work best!

The tented campsites have plenty of space with direct access to hydro and water, and the bathrooms were always kept very clean. There’s also a service called Gova Zone which will send out a cab and drive you to the nearest Gova bus stop (Naughton). This was really helpful in travelling to town during the day, and I highly recommend it if you arent driving here. Be sure to call Gova Zone at least 90 minutes early to make sure they can get you where you need to go on time.

All in all I can’t recommend Holiday Beach Campground enough. Between the beautiful scenery, great fishing, well maintained utilities and lovely people, it’s a great choice all around. I’ll definitely be coming back again and can’t imagine camping elsewhere...

Beautiful location on a cove of a large lake. This medium sized park features larger than average sites with gravel or grass pads set in widely spaced trees and 20 amp electric, water, and grey water dump. All of the other parks in the area feature only 15 amp electric service. 20 amps let us run our A/C when necessary. There is a dump station in the park and a shared cart to dump your black water if necessary. The park is very old and the new owners are working hard to improve the facilities. The kids really enjoyed the playground. Some of the bathhouse was not working so when they close in the fall they will refresh the bathhouse so for the 2025 season it will be up to their...

Really nice, quiet place to rest. Most if not all sites have a view of the water. Most campers are passing through, just staying one or two nights while there are a few seasonal campers on site. What makes this place amazing are the people who run it - Extremely kind, generous and thoughtful. We ended up with mechanical issues that extended our stay and they treated us like family- driving my husband to the garage, or to get groceries etc- they entertained my 5 yr old daughter’s need to relay information in that roundabout , takes forever 5 year old way…. They were amazing. We will definitely be coming back for the view and the peaceful atmosphere as well as for the people...

Stopped in spontaneously as we were on our way to bike Walden Trails and so glad we did. This quiet, waterfront campground was the perfect base camp for all our adventures. Loved being so close to the Naughton MTB trails as well as a day trip to Killarney Provincial Park. We had a beautiful site, feet from the water (we chose to not use hook ups in order to get even closer) and could paddle right out the back of the spot and into gorgeous McCharles Lake. They have a lovely hiking trail out to a fishing point and the frogs serenade you to sleep. The family of new owners were ultra friendly and accommodating.
