This motel takes the cake as most disgusting motel I've ever visited. Walked in to get a room just to lay my head for the night, the people who worked there I'm guessing husband and wife were very unfriendly, non talkative, didn't seem to care much also didn't even ask what I was interested in. He just proceeded to do paperwork without saying a single word, then asked for payment and signature. Whatever I thought, it's just a place to sleep and not hang out. Got my key a went to the room. My buddy was with me when we went to the room to see it and leave my stuff there. Walked inside first thing noticable was a disgusting smell, like really bad. We left the door open to try and air it out while we looked around. Very small room but who cares right? Just needed a bed for me and my kid. Hot in the room I went directly to the AC, turned it on, but noticed the filter hadn't been cleaned....like ever..it was packed tight with dust. So I took the filter out and went to clean it in the bathroom...where I was greeted with used bars of soap sitting in the soap dish...full of hair. Multiple bars of soap... completely disgusting. From that point we started searching and inspecting the room a little more closely...toilet seat was about to fall off, silverware under the sink with a newspaper clipping, bathroom door frame not falling off...but actually off, tv remote didn't work, front door looks like it was kicked it and repaired with caulking/silicone....damn me for forgetting those pics. Next up...the most important part...the bed....the mattress was absolutely disgusting...filled with dirt and whatever else...a used piece of toilet paper or Kleenex was sitting on it as well...I'm sure there would be bed bugs easily...was afraid to inspect the bed any further. Please...I urge you to look closely at my photos and understand what happened before checking in to this place. I immediately went back to the desk and demanded refund. The man then proceeded to try and blame the room on getting help from a handicap person looking to help out and stating he was too busy to check the room before it got rented... basically anything to make an excuse. I assured him this would be known and people would see what I went through. I got my $75 refund and went to the Best Western in Halton Hills, paid $200 for the night and I swear it was the best decision I made in 2018. You could eat off those floors in that place. This isn't even a safe place to stay... especially with a child. Health inspectors need to be on this ASAP. Unfortunately, I'm forced to rate 1 star, and even that is far to high of a rating, so 0 stars...not 1.

The price was right as our car had broken down in Acton. The bathroom was very clean. Had a full sized stove and fridge which was cool. Those were the pros. I had forgotten my eye glasses at home and cannot see a thing with out them. The next morning my SO had pointed out the stains on the side of the mattress and box spring my daughter and I had slept on. Pretty much looks like someone had bled out there. It was very hot, we had an ac in the room but it just blew hot air. The bed smelled like dirty body smell and unwashed sheets. They claimed to have satellite programming but only received about four working channels and those were voiced over in described video. Had a creepy old man who lived at the motel follow us around and not say a word... just kept eyeing my toddler. When we were just about ready to hop in the car, he decided to speak.... not a word to us, just to her "Ciao, my little princess" *shudders* at the sound his voice made. She was uneasy all night... would not sleep, cried to go home all night. Would not recommend this motel at all. Sleep in your car in town at the McDonald's if you have to.

Obviously I don't go to a roadside motel for five star experience but there has to be some level of quality for running a motel business of any kind. Walls were stained, bathtub did not drain. One towel and floor mat but no other hand towels or face clothes. They may have wished they put a fitted sheet on the bed because the sheet pulled off and in the morning I saw the horrid state of the mattress cover. Bedding above that was perfectly clean and comfortable but you gotta call it a day on something that stained. Again a few wear and tear markings but that was a crime scene. Fortunately too I only saw it in the morning. Floor of room was very clean. Staff were friendly. No phone in room. Didn't use TV. Door only had handle lock no dead bolt or chain or anything secondary. The fit of the door in the frame makes me think this is a place to avoid in winter. Hopefully they add heavier blankets by that season.

We arrived late and were given a room that was probably not cleaned for years. We were shocked. The owner said that the sheets were clean and it should do for one night. We told him that we booked for 2 nights. He stated that he wasn't aware of it and we should look for another accomodation the next day. We expressed our dissatisfaction. He said that he couldn't do anything about it because every room was booked. He stated that he has a contract with CN & CP railways. The property owner did not have the right key to give us. He said that he'll give it to us in the morning. ||The kitchen cabinet had 1 door missing & we could tell that the inside hasn't been dusted in years. The sinks were filthy. The inside of the toilet had black marks. The bathtub was filthy and so was the shower curtain. The walls had cracks and holes. the clothes cupboard was missing the door & smelled of mold. The refrigirator was dirty. The floating floor was dirty and ondulated. The box springs of the beds had big ugly stains but, the mattresses were comfortable. We had to spray and wipe with disinfectants before we could go to sleep.||||The owner appeared the next morning and stated that he could give us a better room for cash. We looked at it and it was better and because I had to go to work, we accepted it. The bathroom & the refrigirator were in the same condition as the other. We cleaned with bleach and Scrubbing Bubbles. The walls also had cracks & holes. We were afraid that a rodent may come through one of them. The whole hotel needs a good paint job and some cleaning women who do their jobs properly. The owners wife said that they had no cleaning women. The owners live on the premises.||||The sheets were clean but a big brown foul smelling insect was in between the pillows on one of the beds. The beds in this room were old and uncomfortable.||||They state that no pets are allowed but a permanent guest had a small brown dog barking into the night.||||We stayed on the second day out of sheer neccessity.||||THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISED ON EXPEDIA NOR ANY OTHER...

I am going to echo what Katrina D reviews said. Although hers is dated back in Aug 2016 there are things that have not change since. My room was not spotless but I had what I need it plus I didn’t have no choice in my case because my arrival was right after 11pm, and at that time I could not go to another motel in a town that is in the middle of nowhere.||Not only there is pretty scary looking people at this place my booking was pretty strange since I was in Berrie, On and when looking in my device for an affordable motel to stay; this one showed up in my display in a town I never been to. It was getting late so I booked it. ||I really hope to God that a Detective from Halton , ON sees this because in the five days that I stayed I could hear someone walking toward my door in the middle of the night and stand outside than grab the knob to my room with force pressure that I could hear it than leave. During my five days stay nobody came to clean my room and I couldn’t even empty the garbage. I did emphasize to the owner that I am very allergic to smoke; I was even sneezing while in his office. So he gave me a room that didn’t have smoke smell and somewhat quite. This is definitely not a safe place for single women. Anybody can make a copy of the key to the rooms and come back later pretending to stay for a night or two. The WiFi is not the best; one day it took 6 hours to send 6 emails and the Cable TV was not the best. I wouldn’t doubt that what I am doing in my laptop is being look up by someone else in the...
