Blue Forest Lane Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Hammonds Plains

Gorgeous B&B, wonderful host!!! I made a mistake in booking the wrong date but they were awesome in rebooking our room through phone call without making me feel unwelcome in any way, and promptly, stayed up much later than the posted late check-in when we told the host that we were driving from Louisbourg. He made us welcome, the check in (and check-out) was efficient. The breakfast was delicious and was served to us on the beautifully set table (after asking if we had any diatary requirements /restrictions/ preferences the night before. The room (Garden room) was a beautiful "old fashioned" / dainty room, I loved it (not very masculine but I definitely loved the atmosphere of it). The only weird thing was that between the room and the large, bright washroom there was no door!!! :O I love my partner and we're comfortable with each other but a door for the washroom is a must! :) I wish we had spent more time there, the gardens were so romantic! It was also perfect location for us to go to Peggy's Cove the next morning. I'm hoping to go back there...

We recently returned from our east coast vacation. What a beautiful holiday. Even though we ended the last few days hunkered down thru Fiona.||||We were so fortunate to start our holiday by staying at Blue Forest Lane. Brent and his wife were absolutely amazing from the time we walked in until we left. Our room was the garden room. HUGE. They have kept the ambience of the home, beautiful.||Brent was a host to the nth degrees, always made sure his guests were comfortable at the breakfast table , chatting and sharing their holiday experiences. Blue Forest Lane is a gem in Halifax with great convenient location. It is a lovely house (with private parking) in a beautiful garden with forest at the back of the property. We arrived late at night, our hosts Brent and Wanda were up to greet us. Brent provided us useful suggestions daily on "What to do". Our Room (with a large en-suite bathroom) faces the lovely garden and is elegant, warm, spacious and comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated by our hosts who are both artists. We looked forward to our amazing breakfasts every morning (personally prepared by our hosts ) and are different every day.
