Some may be familiar with the Storyland site near Renfrew; this glamping site is on the same piece of land. As much as possible everything is thought out to blend in with nature! We arrived a few hours prior to opening time(pre-arranged) on Thursday and someone was there to meet us. They hire locally and everyone has your comfort at heart. After going through reception with the charming Ms Dana, ranger Thom drove us and our luggage to our site with, as we would find out over our stay, the ubiquitous golf cart. Our tent on the Nature's Reflection site is the furthest from the office and would be our home for 3 days/2 nights. After taking in explanations about the solar panel power, the composting toilet (no need to go outside!), the general workings of the 2-way radio and a quick ride to the lookout, we were on our own but wait!... kitchen staff would be in shortly and a plate of snacks would be brought up. Wow! Cheese, nuts, fruit, crackers beautifully set in a metal serving dish all protected by cellophane wrap. Nice! The tent is huge making us wonder: is it a king or a queen bed? A very comfortable king thank you very much!! We would find out later that night why the romantic netting over the bed was necessary. Daytime light filters through the canvas fine throughout the day and there are candles and led lanterns for the evening. With the snack tray came menus from which we would check off our requests for the next meal(somewhat like at the hospital but without a dietitian lol!). Portions for all meals were very generous and it is very good food mostly sourced locally and brought up in sealed mason jars as well as cast skillets. The vegan option was delicious and there was plenty. Near mealtime(of your choosing), a ranger (or rangerette) comes up to light a fire in the beautifully cutout and detailed steel pit made of half an old 400 lb propane tank(recycling at it's best!) and deliver whatever you ordered to eat. There is a cooler in the tent with a bottle of fresh water on ice which they refill anytime you ask. Once the fire is lit, off they go in the golf cart. It is BYOB and you can indulge anywhere on the property but please don't litter!! We picked up quite a few cans and gum wrappers that never should have been discarded the way they were. It is pristine, let's keep it that way. Thanks to solar power, there is a new old style turntable in the tent and at the office, hundreds of records you can borrow and listen to which caused us to reconnect with Janis Joplin, Chicago, Three Dog Night, Abba, Heart, Saturday Night Fever, Boss Scaggs, Cano, Harmonium, David Bowie, etc. That made our stay very nice however remember to leave quiet time in there so you can hear the birds and other sounds of nature like mosquitoes, flies and.... golf carts?!? Just kidding; they do come around a few times a day to make sure all is good and we appreciated that. On sunny days, there is enough power to charge your cell phone and it will also(separately) run the fan on the propane stove that is in the tent should you need it. It was raining on one of our days there and we were invited to the business centre to cook and eat our meal as it is a covered area. I would have given the service a 5 star rating but for the fact that due to a lack of kindling(for our entire stay?), I had to find my own(kindling) in the wooded areas around our tent to get our fires going myself after a lot of fanning and patience. Fire starters are great but they won't light a log on their own. Even though the explanation for the lack was ok, I am not sure it would have been that difficult to make some as needed for our stay. We were also promised yoga and from what I understood there were not enough participants so no yoga. Ok here too; we understand. On the bright side, we were offered a painting session with Patrick and that made my bride's stay totally worthwhile!! For a few hours she was immersed in painting a few canvasses and even got to bring one home. The fact that she could not stop talking about the techniques she learned and how much she enjoyed the session with Patrick and a few other campers made me very happy because after all, I had chosen this glamping experience for her!! Did I mention the food was plentiful and excellent?!? To say that they did their best to take care of every whim is an understatement; at all times they did their best to be ahead one step. After our first night, we had the skillet breakfast - fantastic!! We went for a discovery walk and when we got back our tent had been tended to, the bed made, pretty sure they refilled the water jug in the bathroom and swept the entrance of stones, etc. Yes, glamping is great!! The showers at the main house(behind reception) are clean and big and very well thought out all the while offering local soaps and shampoo but unfortunately we could not buy any on site. Glad we could shower as we smelled like smoke after each meal as did our clothes but hey - that's part of camping right? Beautiful showers by the way and one is even accessible as are many of the tent sites. The owner was on hand most of the time and has great personality as well as what seemed like a genuine interest in chatting with us while making sure things were running smoothly all over. Would we go back? Absolutely! Would we recommend Elements Luxury Tented Camp? Absolutely and very strongly! It is 18+ only however pet friendly and they will listen to your needs for their accomodation. Pricing is at the high end of the spectrum however, I would rather pay to stay here than even half that at a fancy hotel in a big city. It's a shame it really is not that well known even to locals. Check out their themed stay activities like the Goddess Stay. I (we) wish to thank everyone for a great stay and continued success to Elements Luxury...

We stayed one night in the tent called Horton's Hideaway and it was a wonderful time. The staff was busy preparing for a big wedding the next day but that didn't stop them from giving my boyfriend and I the best possible service. ||||The tent was beautiful with a comfy queen-sized bed draped with a mosquito net. It had two comfy chairs, an indoor fireplace and a little table equipped with essentials - glassware, paper towel, a bottle opener and bugspray. There was a box of chocolates waiting for us in the room and right after we got situated, the "butlers" came and delivered us a big bowl of chips with fresh guacamole and salsa, along with a couple kombuchas, it was delicious and could have been enough food for the whole night.||||We were given dinner menus with a bunch of different options. I'm vegan and there were two vegan options for the entrees. I chose the veggie burger and my boyfriend had gluten-free veggie pasta. You can also choose as many sides as you like and desserts. All of the plates and cookware is delivered to you with the meal and the butler will light the fire for you. You then cook everything yourself over the fire. Later on, a butler will come and take away all the dirty dishes. For desserts, we got the gluten-free smores. Breakfast was the same process. I had oatmeal with an abundant fruit plate and great coffee with coconut milk.||||The "butlers" were EXCEPTIONAL. They came by often to check on us and brought us anything we asked for - a record player, board games, more (non-alcoholic) drinks. They were very friendly but still gave us our privacy. We even stopped by the main building to pick out some records, then they drove our selected records back to our tent for us while we finished our walk. ||||There was plenty to do around the site. They had a yoga studio, hammocks and seating areas, a gorgeous pond in its natural state with paddle boats. There is also a terrific lookout point with beanbag chairs to lounge in and take in the view. We didn't get to explore the hiking trails because we were having so much fun just sitting around the campfire.||||Overall, the place has an air of romance and relaxation. It was so nice to not have to worry about packing anything but a change of clothes and alcohol! I would recommend it to anyone! It is pricey...

I chose Elements as a surprise for my wifes birthday. We stayed 2 nights at Natures Reflection, in my opinion its the best location in the park (lots of privacy) this was the main reason I chose to stay here because my wife loves Nature but most of all,SILENCE.||Tent was nice, bed was heavenly.||I requested the record player and the rangers brought a stack of records, beetles, Frank Sinatra, and a bunch of other oldies, this helped to set the mood. ;)||Food was delicious and plentiful. Lots of healthy options for my wife and good not so healthy food for myself such as bacon, burgers etc. My only disappointment with the food was the steak I ordered the first night, good cut but it definitely wasnt a (AAA) more like (A). ||The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they were young students but very mature. ||The owner was very nice and shared her 10 yr plan with us, we could see the excitement and passion she has for the park and it shows in the service. ||The activities are very very limited.||There's a paddle boat and theres also paddle boards. Before arriving I was excited about the paddle boards as this was an activity that my wife would have loved to try however, the pond is an all natural pond and I personally would never put my foot in it, this was a huge disapointmemt for me.||Yoga teacher didnt show up for the class and this was another disapointment.||We did get to play a piano in the yoga studio to pass time.||We didnt request the art class so I have no feed back for that activity.||||All in all my wife found it relaxing, I personally wouldnt stay more then one night due to limited activities. I guess it all depends what you're looking for. I also think its over priced. But I guess thats what you pay when you want great service. Did I mention great service!||||I also noticed micro cottages placed in poor locations I'm not sure if theyre temporary locations if not then I recommend they be moved further away from the gravel road that the golf karts drive on.||||Well thats all, if you want a taste of camping without the hassle look no further.||||I would also like to wish Nicole success in all...
