Cosy and friendly by the beach.

Building constructed in 2000. 8 rooms total, half with a private deck overlooking the beach. Private ensuites in each.

Very clean and comfortable inside. Wooden look interior, creates a cosy atmosphere.

Our room was smallish with a queen bed, but it's all we needed. Bathroom was a decent size. Shower was the best we've had in 2 weeks. Rooms have heaters. Didn't see any air con or fans. We opened the sliding deck door for air flow. Not a lot of sound insulation between walls but we had ear plugs. Bed was hard and not the greatest but lots of extra pillows and blankets available.

Shared kitchen, dining and living room. Coin laundry available between specific times. Included breakfast was basic (bacon, eggs, toast, cereal) but not bad. Our breakfast came out 30 mins after our pre-requested time so ask for it early if you're in a rush.

Hostess lives in a separate building nearby and was very nice and welcoming. Has...

This was the best accommodation in the area, we wanted to explore L’Anse aux Meadows and this was about the only place that was decent. They have a lot of parking and the breakfast was fantastic. The sisters (owners?) who were doing the breakfast were really friendly and helpful and very nice.

The rooms, well, it’s a matter of what one is used to. If one is used to hiking and camping and a little bit of roughing it out, this would be a great place. The bathroom had a certain odor that was not pleasant but that could be because of pipes and sewage and what not, after all, this is in a rather remote area so one can’t expect it to be at par with bathrooms in towns with better systems.

We could hear the creaking of floor boards when people walked in the hallway, the laundry machines going on (our room was next to the washers), the doors opening and closing. We could hear the cars coming and going…but it was the best and nearest place...

What can I say? From the moment we walked in, it was amazing. Comfortable, cozy, clean, beautiful location. View from the room is beautiful. The lady that met us when we arrived...again, can't say enough nice things! Friendly, welcoming, helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It wasn't just an oversight stay. It was an incredible experience. I really didn't want to give such a good review in case it encourages people to stay here because I want to keep the wonderful gem all to myself! If you're in this part of the world, do yourself a favour...

I cant say enough about how great this B&B was. The place is immaculate, the rooms have private bathrooms, and the location is second to none if you want the seculdedness of not being in a larger centre. Despite being secluded, there are a few fantastic restaurants within a few minutes drive. Also, the ice pack break up is spectaular, and is clearly viewable right from the doorstep. There is lots of advertising for big boat tours from St Anthony, but there are also some close and local operators which are also fantastic.

Quiet place, bfast included, was delicious. Hiking trail behind the B&B. Access to Viking trail, amazing view of the ocean from patio door. Can cook your own meals or go out to eat. Living room where you can chat with other travelers.
