Duck Lake RV Resort — Hotel in Kawartha Lakes

My husband and I decided to take a drive up to check this campsite out, despite some of the negative reviews. We were welcomed by Len, who showed us around and took the time to explain all their amazing new plans to this site, even though we didn't make an appointment. We were beyond impressed at what they plan to add to this already amazing location. The new beach area has the most gorgeous views, there's a pool, tennis court and they plan on adding a floating water park on the lake and also adding a dog park. Love this place. Have had our trailer there for over 10 years. Was a lot better a couple years ago when privately owned before the big corporation bought the park, but there is some benefit to this. I have a lot of memories here. The lake is great for fishing and water activities. Only real complaint is the public washrooms and laundry are only open 8am to 5pm. Used to be 24h. You guys need to bring the 24 hour washrooms back. And stop ripping the forest out to put more...
