Lonesome Pine | A Parkbridge Cottage & RV Resort — Hotel in Kawartha Lakes

When we first came into the park it was nicely kept,(2021) now it looks unkept! The roads are in very poor shape, gardens were not touched or cleaned until early August, no flowers planted, lots of dead shrubbery. There is lots of goose dropping in the beach area, had/have problems with wasps in the children’s playground that took quite a few days to be addressed, pool areas lack cleanliness. We need some shade around the pools and somewhere at the beach for people who cannot sit in the sun long! We need some seating at the beach area, such as benches or more picnic tables. The kayak stands at the beach need to be fixed up and more added as some just lay on the ground in the way of getting others out. We have had problems with our septic since September of 2024 and all they do is bandage the situation. The rec hall is so unorganized, always in disarray. I could go on and on and it really doesn’t go anywhere. We are very unhappy with the way the park has gone down with moral. Good morning, my problem right now? Is that Friday, when there was no administration staff at the park, which seems to be the theme of the summer, I spoke with the only person at the park who knows what's going on, Jamie. There is water, leaking up from a broken pipe going into the back of my trailer. He did what he could, but he had to leave at the end of the day, as he was not able to work overtime to get the problem fixed.

There was no one here with the where with all to fix this problem during the weekend ( again, the theme of the summer.) Somebody did look at it, but didn't know how to fix it at all., and therefore here it is, Monday morning, and the water is still bubbling up from the pipe.

The water pressure in our trailer is horrendous at the moment. We are worried about the water accumulating around the back base of the trailer and what it is doing to our park model trailer.

We have been at Lonesome Pine for 4 years now. Each year we have seen the resort grow and change! This year we loved experiencing new activities (line dancing, trivia, kids chocolate bar bingo, organized sports with staff and other parks, etc). The park added new picnic table at the beach and all new loungers at both pools. Our lot has had issues in the past that each year we see staff working to fix and following up with. Our street was paved last year which the kids love for riding bikes, scooters and of course chalking! Staff has changed but happy to see the regulars continuing to show up each day and we were so happy to welcome back Kim this year in the office! Would recommend the park to family and friends!!
