Though I’m grateful my wedding party, myself and guests had a place to stay. If anywhere else in Lindsay had availability for a wedding block I would’ve gladly chosen them over Travelodge by Wyndham. The management is so poor and confusing and extremely misleading. I barely know where to begin.
First off upon reaching out for a hotel block we agreed upon a room amount and when finalizing we were told we could no longer take as many because Raj had to give some rooms to another block as well ??? Ok but I thought first come first serve? Despite this we said ok as the days inn was fully booked and proceeded. After my invitations were made and sent out, guests went to book only to say they couldn’t find the hotel and they were confused because suddenly there was a name change?
There was NO notification email phone call for management to confirm what had happened to to ensure my booking was still the same. Frantically as RSVPS started rolling in I was scrambling to call Raj to figure everything out. There was so much miscommunication on who to call for the wedding block and what phone number and what hours. Something that was supposed to be so seamless turned into a legitimate logistical nightmare.
We were also told how many people were allowed in each room and upon checking in Raj himself again was giving misinformation about what he said over the phone and now in person. Not only Sneaking in extra charges and blatantly lying. When we were checking in PAST 3pm which is the standard check in time MANY rooms were not ready for my guests? Also even though we did a room block people were paying different amounts for the same rooms? A week later and all the guests are still waiting for their $100 damage fee deposits to be posted back to their credit cards??
I 100% would never ever stay here again unless management improves and learns customer service and how to effectively...
Read moreI have rented here 4 times over the last 7 years and mostly get the back long term units but 2 out of 4 times they have kept my deposit with aligations of smoking in rooms but later when pressed about it and not being a smoker they later said room was not in good shape, as I'm very clean and wipe everything down as if it's my own home. Also with 200 dollars being at stake I make sure everything is tip top as it was essentially in this econemy these days 200 dollars can't be spared. Later in the conversation as I made points the lady said the towels were so dirty that i traded in that they were unusable. And that there were about4 o 5the recieved back like this, of course changing there store a 3rd time they said that we did no clean up after our dog with is 100% one of my biggest importance as a dog owner. So for any of these reason, I do not believe especially for 4 or 5 towels that 200 dollars is exceptable to be taking from two people my girlfriend and I trying to find a home we'll paying motel prices and losing deposits over absolutely made up accusations. I do not recommend this motel unless you have money to give away for free. Nore are they polite, nor do they care to be honest and curious well you are there. Very unsatisfied and disrespected. Read moreI have had bad experiences with businesses in my life but this is the first time I leave a bad review as I take this matter very seriously. I called this hotel to book 9 rooms for my guests given that I was getting married in the area. They took my CC info thinking I was holding the rooms only. A lot of my guests called and changed the rooms under their name accordingly. Eventually few people were told that there is NO MORE ROOMS under my name in the system. I personally called a week before the reservation date and was assured that no rooms are left under my name. I called again the day before to be EXTRA cautious. The next day, magically 3 rooms appeared under my name and I was charged almost $500 for it. I have plenty of proof to show that my guests were told no rooms exist for me along with my own communication. I am now paying for their mistake and they keep referring me to the 24hr cancelation policy which completely misses the point of my stance. They refuse to hear my side of the story and continue to claim that I did not cancel the rooms on time (how can you cancel a reservation that was not showing up in the system?) Horrible and selfish behaviour and something that left a very bad taste in my mouth. I will never do business with this company again and all my guests (who ended up occupying 11 rooms) were told about this.
