If you're looking for a place to stay near the Mont Tremblant ski resort, I would highly recommend this spot.
The property is about a 10minute drive over, and it's situated in a very secluded yet peaceful forest area.
For the fantastic rate that was paid, the room we had was very comfortable, clean, tidy, and very accommodating. It was a wonderful room with features ranging from seperate temperature controls for the washroom and bedroom, to almost every light being dimmable. The washroom floors may or may not have been heated too!
The amenities were wonderful. They have a nice spacious lounge, a big game room equiped with boardgames, a full sized pool table, and a comfortable breakfast area.
Things like the included coffee along with some snacks and drinks in your room just further elevated the experience. The main lobby also had coffee pods, snacks and some drinks available too.
The included full breakfast was also wonderful. Everything was freshly cooked, and had items ranging from cheese filled breakfast egg muffins, to fresh fruit cups. This was by far the best hotel breakfast I've personally experienced, because along with the traditional breakfast items like bacon eggs and sausages, they had proper drinks like smoothies and juices included in the breakfast. There were many other options for different cereals , bakery items, yogurts, cheese dips, jams, the list goes on. They even continued to cook fresh items even though the breakfast time was almost over near 10am.
The hosts were all super friendly and welcoming, and made sure the stay was very comfortable and pleasant.
Overall an extremely fantastic experience, and I will definitely be returning.
Side note:
This place gave a fantastic first impression the second we pulled in at night - from the wonderfully lit drive path, to the cozy cottage feel you get from walking in.
In our situation we were arriving at 1:30am in the morning, and we forgot to mention it to the hotel as their closing time was 10pm. We were worried the doors would be locked. Upon arrival it was relieving to see that even though we did not notify them, the hotel had our keys with our room number waiting for us in a packet when we arrived. We immediately felt welcome even with no one there. Very...
Read moreMy partner and I stayed for one night. I came from biking the P’tit Train du Nord. I had high expectations for this place, considering the price tag ($355 paid for one night), the photos on the booking platform and on Google, and that they are rated a four star hotel (implies more amenities and higher quality and luxury).
The reality fell short of my expectations. I arrived to a wet floor (recently mopped, but windows not left open to let the room air out). I found the last guests’ dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and had to run it myself. The garbage in the kitchen was full of the last guests’ garbage and was not emptied. There were not enough towels in the bathroom, so I had to retrieve my own from the main house. The bathrobes would’ve been a nice touch, but they were not plush and soft as you’d expect, they were rough to the touch and clearly quite old. The breakfast had many options, but was basically a continental self-serve breakfast, not the waffles and eggs benedict pictured in reviews. The “loft” room was in dire need of upkeep. The heaters were falling off the wall, and the white walls had scuff marks and looked tatty. The baseboards were dirty, and the windows and sliding door were badly in need of a proper clean. Everything fell short of the upscale quality implied. The presentation and attention to detail was not there.
The amenities were nice — hot tub, heated pool, sauna (but again, the sauna timer was broken and difficult to use). The bed was clean and comfortable.
Overall, the stay was fine. I would look for accommodations...
Read moreIt's always funny to read comments from random Germans that don't have much to do with the actual situation on site. Certain exponents from certain cultures love to travel somewhere and complain about everything instead of having a good time. Me, for example, I prefer to find solutions to any disagreements with the hotel staff on site - but hey, to each their own.
In one comment, a woman actually complained that the sauna wasn't on. If she had used her brain and turned the switch to the right, the sauna would have been hot within 10 minutes. It goes without saying that a sauna in a rather small hotel cannot be switched on all the time. How dumb can someone be? Ever heard of global warming? Do you think wasting electricity is cool? Looks like complaining instead of rational thinking to me.
My girlfriend and I had a great time there! The whole complex, including the rooms, were beautiful. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the breakfast is excellent. We can warmly recommend this location and will...
