Camping Lac-des-Plages — Hotel in Lac-des-Plages

We were on a roadtrip and stayed at many RV parks. This one by far exceeded all of our expectations, and especially because the owners themselves are very kind and genuinely want to help their guests. Whenever we had any questions, they were always there to support.

Upon arrival, and after being late, they still accommodated for us, and one of the owners went outside and literally took us to our campsite (which was a bit of a drive from the main office). He then went back and did the same thing all over again for my family when they arrived after us. All this, in the pouring rain. He didn’t really have to do that!

Also, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the kids play area is big and has many options.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I have only been here 2 days and our experience here has been horrible. By far the worst camping eexperience i’ve ever had.

The employees are arrogant and disrespectful. There are endless rounds of surveillance in which they basically wait for someone to chastise. We were constantly followed and reprimanded for ridiculous reasons to the point where we felt as if we were in a prison. We were even harassed by the owner who swore at children and came within inches of assaulting a senior for talking at a decent volume past 10pm. The owner was extremely unprofessional and out of line. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

P.S The beach isn’t on the campground and is extremely small, not at all what is advertised on...

July 2022. Over controlled, lock on the pool with no code to enter. Limit of 10 people in the pool. Not much to do on site. We had to pay for a shower. We thought it was too expensive for the accommodations. The toilets were broken and we couldn't do our laundry because the machines were broken as well. The playground was out of date. To this day, it is still the worst campground we've been to. It was a calm area though with easy pull in/out on nice grass and sunny land. The lake next to the property is beautiful and enjoyable to swim in but with a very small beach. Yes to Mont-Tremblant and the lake but no to this campground unfortunately... I would choose a...
