We had the best time. Spent a week in a waterfront cottage and it was amazing. Very nice owners. We would go back in a heartbeat!

I've never left a bad review in my life but I feel the need to pass this on. My friends and I have been going to Singleton for 20 years at the opening of pike season which has been the middle of May. We've been there since before Peter took over the place and I'll say he's a very hard worker with a vision and has completely turned the place around for the better over time. Originally the cabins were in very poor condition and priced accordingly which was fine with us. The prices went up as he renovated them and I completely understood that and had no problem at all paying more for a more comfortable cabin. I've always assumed we had a good relationship. We followed all the rules and left the cabin in as good or better condition when we left than it was in when we arrived here. My problem is with this mans character. I personally ran a small family business for 33 years and have always thought I have a pretty good feel for people in general. He definitely caught me off guard a couple weeks ago. I called him to say we would not be able to make it this year due to numerous personal issues and requested he return our $300 deposit until next year. This was a 3 month notice. He told me that he would work with me whatever that means and said the deposit was non refundable. As far as I'm concerned what I thought was a good relationship was zero as far as he sees it. My 20 years of loyalty and being a appreciated return customer means nothing to him. Its very unfortunate that money can influence people in that manner. I just don't understand how so called family people can treat...

I've been here twice now to visit family who have been staying at the campground. They had a 2 bedroom cabin along the lakeshore, which offered really pretty views in the early morning and and evening hours. At any time of day you were likely to hear or see loons out on the lake, and it was really relaxing. Campground itself is fairly well maintained, and theres a decent amount you can do if you choose. They have canoe/kayak rentals, a field for playing soccer and such in, a boat launch and beach, a playground and an icecream/tuck shop. Cabins are clean, and provide a decent amount of space. Only issue maybe is the bathroom layout of the cabin we were at was a bit weird (coat rack was in a hallway insidethe bathroom), but that wasn't really a major issue. Overall, really nice place to be, and Ill definitely be...

We just returned from a weekend at Singleton Lake Family Campground; a perfectly restful hideaway for a couple of days of much needed quiet time, away from the grind. The waterfront cottage we rented, while right at the entryway to the campground, provided the privacy and simplicity we wanted. We were close to everything we needed, yet felt completely left alone to our own schedule. We enjoyed walks around the grounds and found it to be a family friendly spot. Pete and Eraina were so hospitable. As it is within an hour's drive of work and home, it will be an anticipated escape again, hopefully before the end of...
