We had such a wonderful stay at Daisy Hill Bed & Breakfast—truly a hidden gem! The location is ideal: just minutes from the 401, yet it feels like you're deep in the peaceful countryside. It was the perfect base for exploring Kingston, Napanee, and even the 1000 Islands cruises (thoroughly recommended).
The house itself is beautiful—full of character, with lovely decor throughout. Everything was absolutely spotless, and you can tell a lot of care and pride goes into keeping the space welcoming and comfortable.
Our host was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. We especially loved spending time out on the deck, soaking in the views and the quiet surroundings—it was hard to tear ourselves away!
We stayed in the Daisy Suite, which was perfect for our family. It’s incredibly spacious and even better in person than in the photos. The layout worked perfectly, and the attention to detail really stood out.
Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautifully kept place then...
Read moreMy partner and I stayed here during a recent trip to Amherstview/Kingston. We stayed in the Daisy Suite and were absolutely in awe of the quality of the house overall. It's obvious that a lot of love and care has gone into maintaining and curating the property. Our room was cozy and neat, and the bathroom was very clean and luxurious. Although we weren't able to make the most of the complimentary breakfast (partly due to time constraints, and partly due to the room being so cozy that we decided to sleep in a little), we were really impressed with the options that Deb had laid out for her guests. Since we had arrived late the night of our stay, we didn't see the property in full until the next morning, and we'd absolutely love to come back during the warmer months to make the most of what looks like an exquisite stay by the water. Would absolutely recommend booking at Daisy Hill B&B if travelling in or...
Read moreThe setting, particularly the grounds, are lovely. The owner, Debbie, is much less so. Her greeting was: "Are you paying by cash or credit." There was no sense of welcome or hospitality ... except from the dogs. |We were in the Rose Room which is utterly hideous. The decor is rife with dolls and doll paraphernalia. Debbie might be obsessed with it but we found it objectionable, distasteful, and haunting. |Moreover, the "private" bathroom is in a public hallway across from the Rose Room with free access to any passerby. |Additionally, be prepared to cook your own breakfast! There may be others cooking ahead of you and no way to clean the cookware ... and why am I cooking and cleaning? That's the responsibility of the B&B isn't it?|Save your money. Find a hotel and avoid this silly, pretentious, over-priced, and poorly administrated...
