SeaShell Motel PEI — Hotel in Malpeque

Lovely little Motel close to Kensington. It’s a nice central location for lots of day trips. The room was cute and beachy. It had all the basics we needed to prepare meals. BBQ provided for each room.

The property is good for singles, couples, and families. Lots of lawn games to entertain the kids, and fire pits to toast some marshmallows! We enjoyed just lounging on the front porch in the deck chairs in the breeze.

We really enjoyed the cafe on the property. Owner Tammy is lovely and makes an awesome Americano (Yum). Breakfast really hit the spot. So nice to have a home cooked meal. Cook Sandra did a great job.

My partner and I loved this place. We were camping at nearby Cabot Beach Provincial Park and the Seashell Cafe was one of the highlights of our stay in the area. We loved the iced coffee, dole whips and specialty sundaes. Addy was always there with a smile on her face and excellent service. I loved stopping there on my bike rides for a coffee. This restaurant has been taken over and the care taken to make the place look great was a VERY pleasant surprise! The coffee was a 10 star the owner was very pleasant. The food however was in much need of upgrading. We are on PEI the potatoes should be fresh, be proud of our province offer our homegrown potatoes support local grown. The eggs (both plates)were tasteless. The owner did say “working on our poached eggs” I could not eat them. I gave a 3 because of all the positives as stated above....
