Selena Lakehouse Luxury Muskoka Cottage — Hotel in McMurrich/Monteith Township

We had a fantastic time at the Selena Lakehouse during the summer of 2024. Truth be told, we loved it so much that we’ve already rebooked for the summer of 2025!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining a welcoming and well-equipped space. The house itself was incredibly cozy, well-kept, and thoughtfully stocked with all the necessities we could possibly need. The attention to detail was noticeable in every room, making it feel like a true home away from home. Whether we were cooking meals together or just relaxing indoors, everything was perfectly set up for comfort.

The outdoor space was just as impressive. The owners had clearly put in a lot of effort to keep the yard pristine, even going so far as to comb their sandy beach, which was such a thoughtful touch. There were so many fun activities to enjoy outdoors—kayaks, paddleboards, a canoe, and even toys for the kids. It made for endless hours of fun!

One of the highlights of our stay was the firepit area, which was a cozy gathering spot for our large group. There was more than enough seating, and we never had to worry about running out of firewood. It was the perfect setting for evening fires, where we made memories and relaxed under the stars.

This lake house provided everything we needed for a memorable vacation, and we are already looking forward to our return this coming summer. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-maintained...
