My family and I recently stayed here and to be honest the trailer itself wasn’t bad it had what it needed (beds, bathroom, kitchen area etc…) but the lots the trailers were on were really close together, you could hear everyone’s conversations and it felt as though when you stepped out of your trailer you were basically on the site next to you. They were so tight together you couldn’t even park on your site you had to park in front of it and then try to move around other cars. The owner was also always hovering and going onto our site when we didn’t ask for it. We had started a fire and he just walked onto our site to complain about how we weren’t using his wood because we had gotten cheaper wood from somewhere else. He wasn’t invited into our site and just walked onto it himself and interrupted our family/dinner time. We booked online and there was a glitch which said we were only bringing 4 people when we were actually bringing 5 and when emailed to fix this the owner charged us $50 extra a night (totalling $150 extra) and then didn’t even remember when we got there and asked us why the bunks weren’t enough for beds and why we needed the table down. Even if we had enough bed space and still wanted to use the table bed it’s really none of his business as we payed for use of the whole trailer but on top of that he had been informed earlier we had 5 people and even charged us extra for essentially just having another body there so he could have at least remembered. The overall grounds themselves were pretty run down and looked like they weren’t really taken care of. There are showers and bathrooms up front which is nice but the curtains were all moldy and the paint on the walls was chipping. There was also garbage piles everywhere which is just not something you want to look at when trying to enjoy a nice trip. Overall it worked for what we needed and provided a cool dry place to sleep but we will definitely not be staying there again and would not recommend it to others.

Was not anything like the website portrays, more like a junk yard than a campground. Claims to be a family campground but this place hasn't seen any families in yrs... trees growing through the playground, weeds and junk everywhere and no one camping! Places is over grown and extremely run down! Not to mention very creepy!!! Old radio playing outside on a table beside the laundry and shower house that is boarded up. When we confronted the owner about the place being nothing like the website she said it was not a resort and they were storing stuff for people... we gave a $250 deposit and managed to get $150 refunded. I wouldn't recommend this place...

We have been going here for several years now, we love it. For true nature lovers, quite, peaceful, so relaxing, clean and unspoiled still. We always have a great time here. Our hosts are very helpful in knowing the best places to eat, hike, swim and shop, the best Fish & Chips, Shipwreck Lees, hiking Devils Monument and Flowepot Island, swimming Black Creek Provincial Park, they were bang on. Enjoyed the bonfires in the evenings with our wonderful hosts and the other guests. The kids and I look forward to returning soon we are always...
